Renée Zellweger’s boyfriend gushed over the actress in a recent interview.
Ant Anstead, 46, who recently referred to his longtime partner, 56, as ‘the missus,’ had high praise for her while promoting the second season of his show Born Mechanic.
In an interview with Hello!, the TV personality opened up about his love for the Judy star.
‘One of the many, many things that attracts me to Ren is that she’s a hands-on car girl,’ he told the publication.
The pair met when Zellweger was a guest on Anstead’s previous show, Celebrity IOU Joyride.
‘It’s really cool that we met on a car show. She welded – I mean, how cool is that?’ he asked.

In season two of Born Mechanic the presenter will restore and sell classic cars in order to renovate a 500 year-old farmhouse he bought for his parents.
He revealed the Cold Mountain actress has had a hand in that too.
‘She’s been a big influence on that; she’s very, very good at designing,’ he said of the Chicago star, ‘So, I’m obviously going to take advice from the person who’s way better at houses than I am.’
‘I am constantly being advised, because she’s the greatest human I’ve ever met,’ he said.
In May, Daily Mail reported that Anstead and Zellweger had been living apart for quite some time due to his financial troubles.
At that time, it was discovered that the TV presenter had been able to convert the Radford Motors Chapter 11 bankruptcy filed in October 2024 to a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which will allow some ‘relief’, according to People.
It was unclear how that would happen as Chapter 7 usually requires a company to liquidate its assets.
The company faces lawsuits from partners amid allegations of mismanagement, and several former clients are also suing, claiming they had never received the luxury custom cars they ordered after paying large deposits to the company.
The couple, who began dating in 2021, have not been seen together in public since early March when they were snapped supporting Anstead’s young son at a soccer game.
Anstead has downsized, moving from a multi-million-dollar house in the tony town of Laguna Beach, CA opting for something much smaller and more affordable for himself and son Hudson, who turned six on Sunday.

The TV host shares the boy with ex-wife Christina Haack, 42.
Both shared photos and videos from the birthday party on social media Sunday.
Anstead is also the dad to grown children Amelie, 21, and Archie, 19, from his marriage to ex Louise Storey.
When not working, Zellweger, who will appear in season five of Only Murders in the Building, reportedly makes Southern California her home.
‘I live in Southern California, near San Diego. Because that’s where my fellow lives, and his little boy,’ the usually private actress told British Vogue in an interview published in January.
