The presenters highlighted the fact she looked desperately unhappy when she was announced as a participant in the latest Bushtucker Trial, saying: ‘Grace was not happy was she?’
Speaking on an Instagram Live following last night’s show, the Geordie duo were quick to point out that the food critic had a face like thunder when the results were read out around the campfire.
They went as far as to suggest that Grace, 50, had appeared miserable throughout her time in camp and asked: ‘When is she [happy]?’
‘Grace said nothing and Josie said, ‘Who me?’ Grace was not happy was she? When is she? That’s what I’m throwing out there,’ they said.

‘Find the footage of her being happy during this and then play it back to us.’
The pair seemed to echo what viewers were thinking when Grace and Josie Gibson were picked to take part in tonight’s trial – in which they would be suspended in the air in Perspex boxes.
MasterChef star Grace appeared stoic when her name was read out and had no reaction when her fellow campmates gathered around her in support.
Viewers were immediately concerned for her after her ‘unwell’ appearance and just hours later it was announced that she’d quit the show on ‘medical grounds.’
Grace has been one of the quieter campmates this year and has admitted to struggling in camp, last week threatening to quit.
ITV released a statement on Monday that read: ‘Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.
‘She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike.’
After growing concerned about her appearance, fans took to social media to share their worries, with one claiming they didn’t even recognise the usual bubbly and glam MasterChef star.

Restaurant critic Grace has previously spoken about her strict diet, admitting she ‘has to monitor every day how much food I have to eat for work, how many restaurants I have to go to, just trying to keep a balanced diet.’
Grace was due to appear in a Bushtucker Trial on Monday’s episode but she will be replaced by another campmate.
