The National Board of Review Awards Gala celebrates art in cinema. Their top honorees this year include Killers of the Flower Moon for Best Film; Martin Scorsese for Best Director; Paul Giamatti for Best Actor for The Holdovers; and Lily Gladstone for Best Actress.

Hathaway stars as Celine and Chastain is Alice; they are two best friends who are neighbors in a serene 1960s suburban community.
Their lives go into a tailspin, however, after the tragic death of Celine’s son Max in the highly anticipated psychological thriller.
The film is adapted from the 2012 novel Derriere le Haine (Behind the Hatred) by Barbara Abel, with the story set in the 1960s, and is anticipated to come out in theaters in mid to late 2024.
