Late last year in October, the singer opened up about her sense of fashion during an interview with WWD.
She talked about how her style has evolved since the beginning of her career. ‘I think we all have a constant relationship with fashion. My style choices come from the way I want to show who I am to the world.’
The Used To Be songstress added, ‘I’m a sexy and fun kinda gal. I love making statements with sensuality, but never taking myself too seriously. Fashion should be fun.’
She continued, ‘Fashion is about expressing yourself. Choose pieces that resonate with your personality and have fun with it.’
Anitta’s latest selfie comes shortly after she dropped her new album titled, Funk Generation, which became available last month on April 26.

Anitta sings in three languages on the LP, including English, Spanish and Portuguese – with other music artists also featured on the album, such as Sam Smith and Pedro Sampaio.
During a recent interview with Variety published on Wednesday, the beauty discussed Funk Generation and explained the 15 tracks are ‘more an exploration of my love for the beats, the parties, and how it all makes me feel.’
‘A lot of the producers on this album are people who came from the ghetto, the slums, the favelas.’
She continued, ‘They live and breathe Brazilian funk – the kind of funk that has crazy lyrics, that nasty s**t.’
The performer also talked about not focusing on the numbers with the new album, stating, ‘For a long time, the numbers have decided whether I won or failed, and that will push you to do something unoriginal.’
‘I want to be very clear: That doesn’t mean I don’t love my old songs,’ she said, while referencing her 2022 album. ‘With Versions Of Me, I was trying a little bit of everything to try to solidify myself in the mainstream…’
‘But I don’t care what the f**k is gonna happen with this next album. I love the adrenaline of not knowing whether people are going to like it.’
Last month, Anitta also announced that she will be embarking on her first world tour called the Baile Funk Experience starting May 18 – and will make stops in North America, South America and Europe.
