Angelina Jolie travelled to the Egypt-Gaza border to visit injured Palestinians and humanitarian workers ferrying aid.
The Hollywood star, 50, is former special envoy and goodwill ambassador for the UN refugee agency.
She flew to Egypt on Friday to visit the Rafah crossing, which connects the country to Gaza, and spoke with members of the Red Crescent and truck drivers ferrying humanitarian aid.
According to local media, Jolie made the trip to visit injured Palestinians who have been medically evacuated from Gaza and transferred to Egypt.
She is also said to be there to look into aid deliveries into the devastated territory and spoke to local media at the border.
It comes just two months after she was spotted in the embattled city of Kherson, Ukraine, reportedly on a humanitarian mission.

Kherson has been a frontline target of Russian forces since 2022, and locals say Jolie visited several hospitals, including a maternity ward and a children’s hospital, bringing attention to civilians caught in the crossfire.
Former city council member Vitaliy Bohdanov shared photos of Jolie in a body armour vest bearing the Legacy of War Foundation patch, a charity assisting those affected by the conflict.
Another local outlet posted images of Jolie playing with children in a toy-strewn playroom, all while donning the protective gear.
Daily Mail has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Jolie.
Russian forces continue near-daily strikes on Kherson, including an October 29 attack on a children’s hospital that injured nine, highlighting the perilous conditions Jolie faced during her visit.
Jolie served as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador from 2001 to 2012 and as Special Envoy until 2022, carrying out more than 60 field missions to aid refugees and displaced families.
She stepped down from the role to focus on broader humanitarian and human rights issues, but has returned to Ukraine multiple times.
In 2022, she visited Lviv, meeting children injured in the Kramatorsk train station missile strike.

She spoke with displaced families at the city’s railway station, taking shelter under air raid sirens.
The Malificent star also paid a visit to Ukrainian child refugees in Rome that same year.
That same year, she visited Ukrainian child refugees in Rome at Bambino Gesu paediatric hospital just outside Vatican City.
Here she met Ukrainian children who had arrived in Italy after fleeing the war in their home country.
These children were among the more than two million estimated by UNICEF who have fled Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, with another 2.5 million displaced internally.
In February 2022, Jolie spoke about the war in Ukraine in a post to her Instagram followers.
She wrote: ‘Like many of you, I’m praying for the people in Ukraine.
