Two years ago she shared that she was keen to leave the United States after her youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, turn 18 in July 2026, so listing the home now seems like a planned move.
The property, listed with Sotheby's, is a historic 11,000 square-foot Cecil B. DeMille estate that was designed in a Beaux-Arts-style. There are six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
There two acre lot also includes a swimming pool, pool house, guest house tea house and arched fountains.
She snapped up the home for $25 million in 2017 after leaving her husband who had a property nearby.
Together they co-parent their six children - Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17 - though several of the kids have dropped Pitt from their last names suggesting they are estranged from their dad.

The property is a historic 11,000 square-foot Cecil B. DeMille estate that was designed in a Beaux-Arts-style. There are six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
The house was built in the Los Feliz in 1913 and the famed director DeMille lived there until his death in 1959.
As well as an array of multi-aspect living rooms, it also features a stunning library room.
The bedrooms boast large terraces with breath-taking views, and the winding staircase is a feature within itself.
A grand wood-paneled dining room is complimented by an old farmhouse style kitchen and multiple living spaces.
Jolie sparked rumors that she was considering leaving Los Angeles after an August 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
'I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,' she said at the time.
'When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles,] I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world.'

At the San Sebastián Film Festival in 2025, Jolie stated, 'I love my country, but I don't at this time recognize my country,' as she has been concerned about US politics.
The Daily Mail has contacted Angelina's representatives for comment.

They announced in a statement: 'The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
'The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.'
The former couple owned a huge portfolio of property together, including a mansion in New Orleans, which they sold in October 2016 and their French estate Chateau Miraval, where they tied the knot.
