Angelina Jolie exuded elegance as she arrived for day two of the 40th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Wednesday night.
The A-list actress, 49, is this year’s Maltin Modern Master Award recipient, which is the film festival’s ‘highest honor.’
It’s awarded to Hollywood stars who have ‘enriched our culture through accomplishments in the motion picture industry,’ as per the official website.
The award comes amid acclaim for Jolie’s portrayal of late opera singer Maria Callas in the Pablo Larraín-directed biopic Maria.
Despite critics calling it a ‘career-high’ performance for Jolie, she failed to pick up an Oscar nomination in the 2025 race.
But the mother-of-six looked unbothered by the snub as she worked the film festival’s invite-only red carpet ahead of the award ceremony.

As for makeup, the Changeling star rocked grungy eyeshadow, peach blush and a glossy lip.
Before heading inside the award ceremony, Jolie put on an animated display speaking to reporters on the red carpet.

Jolie will be presented her award by a ‘special guest’ after an hour-and-a-half long retrospective on her career.
Jolie herself will discuss her film accomplishments with a moderator while looking back at her most iconic roles and performances, as per the Santa Barbara International Film Festival website.
The celebratory night proved to be a star-studded affair as the likes of Kathy Ireland and Ava DuVernay showed up in support of Jolie.
