It comes after Angela has revealed that while she’s embraced her glitzy Strictly makeover, there’s one show tradition that she won’t be adhering to.
The presenter explained she’s drawn the line at having a spray tan during her time on the show after refusing to cover her naturally pale skin.
She previously admitted it’s taken her 15 years to accept her complexion, sharing the insight during an appearance on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, where her specialist subject was redheads.
She said at the time: ‘I used to wear it and I know lots of redheads who do wear it who feel really uncomfortable with their pale skin — but I don’t.
‘I’ve spent 15 years getting to grips with the fact I have pale skin. You don’t need to fake tan to feel confident. I want to show that, for me, feeling sexy comes from being myself, not how orange my legs are.’
After ditching the fake tan for her TV appearance, Angela has now revealed she’s become a role model for other flame-haired fans.
She told The Sun: ‘I feel really touched when I get a message from somebody who says their daughter is suddenly OK with not wearing fake tan because she saw me on the telly with my white legs out.
‘I never felt that when I was young. I never saw anyone super pale on telly and, obviously, there’s different levels of that across so many minorities.
‘There’s been absolutely no pushback from Strictly on it. If you want to wear tan, you wear it. If you don’t, you don’t.’
The Your Home Made Perfect presenter is mum to daughters’ Ruby, five, and Marnie, 19 months.
It comes Angela was reported to the police over the video obtained by MailOnline, was uploaded to her Instagram account before being hastily deleted.
Angela said: ‘I made absolutely the wrong decision when I filmed this video. I was coming from rehearsals and was giddy with excitement.
‘That’s not an excuse, because what I did was stupid and I’m sorry I let my excitement get the better of my judgement’.
In the clip Angela can be heard laughing as she performs the dangerous sequence as the car travels at speed.
A source told MailOnline: ‘Angela thought she was having a laugh, playing up to being on Strictly.
‘But leaning out of a moving car is incredibly dangerous and she should know better.
‘Her place on Strictly won’t be at threat but she’ll be warned about her behaviour going forward.’
