Andy Cohen responds to plastic surgery rumors after youthful appearance on NYE broadcast… as CNN weighs exit

Andy Cohen has addressed plastic surgery speculation following his youthful appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve special.

The 57-year-old host, reportedly on thin ice at CNN over his Mayor Eric Adams tirade during the broadcast, used Instagram Threads to issue a response, explaining he ‘did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds!’

Cohen, who was clean-shaven after sporting a beard throughout the summer, added that he also ‘had a lot of makeup on.’

He made the statement in response to a fan who posted, ‘I just saw the new clips of Andy Cohen on NYE and WTF did he do to his face?!? Is he trying to find a new husband at Mar-a-Lago?’

The Radio Andy star took on hosting duties alongside Anderson Cooper in Times Square on Wednesday night, counting down to the New Year.

In September 2025 he opened up about micro-dosing weight loss drugs to help him slim down.

At the time, the radio personality said he had lost ‘a good chunk of weight’ over the summer by using small amounts of an unspecified GLP-1 medication.

‘I was really unhappy with my weight,’ he told listeners.

‘My doctor and I talked about this last year, had recommended a GLP-1 a few times to not only address what I was feeling about my weight, but treat plaque in my arteries and high blood pressure,’ he candidly shared.

Cohen went on to talk about how the weigh loss medication, a favorite remedy in Hollywood, curbed his cravings.

‘I have to say, it really helped me with cravings, which I was having a very hard time with.

‘I would have a drink, then there’s all these cookies. There’s craft services,’ he said of the food provided on the set Watch What Happens Live.

‘It’s pasta night. It’s pizza night… my cravings for all that stuff dissipated,’ the Bravo star noted.

Following the New Year’s Eve broadcast, Cohen took to social media to share  photos and highlights from the event.

One post featured a single image of him and his co-host, who were clad in contrasting blue puffer jackets.

He wrote in the caption, ‘What a wild ride! Thanks to my pal @andersoncooper for having me back, and for having my back always.’

The star continued, ‘We had a ball and yes I’d venture to say we were a tad overserved (by me)….’

Cohen then asked his 5.6 million followers: ‘What was your favorite part of the show??’

He rounded out the note by namedropping the designer of his winter jacket — ‘(Also – thanks @mackage for the coat!)’
