Mauricio Umansky raised eyebrows from fans after he shared details of his Hilton feud on Buying Beverly Hills and not The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Now Andy Cohen has weighed in on the debacle after fans questioned if he or Bravo were up in arms over Mauricio’s discussion of the rift on Netflix – and not Bravo.
Speaking on his show, Radio Andy, Andy insisted much of what Mauricio, 53, was sharing was ‘his story to tell.’
On his series Buying Beverly Hills, Mauricio spilled the story of how he left Hilton & Hyland in 2011 to launch a rival agency, triggering an explosive rift between Kyle and her family, to the point the Hiltons stopped speaking to her.
Andy, 55, said he had been seeing the reaction from fans over the revelation, with viewers arguing both he and Bravo ‘should be pissed’ that Umansky had been disclosing information about the feud on his own show – rather than The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

But Andy says fans will hear soon be hearing from all sides – tonight, Mauricio’s estranged wife Kylie Richards and her sister Kathy Hilton will be discussing the rift on the RHOBH reunion.
‘By the way, tonight [March 13] is the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion part three and I just want you to know, I heard the Smith Sisters saying that they had seen Mauricio‘s Netflix promo where he is talking about the agency and how it started and his feud with Rick Hilton and I would like to say that we address this tonight,’ he assured listeners on his show.
‘We get Kathy [Hilton] and Kyle‘s side of the story tonight on the Beverly Hills reunion. There are a lot of people who are saying, I’m seeing online a lot of people saying that I or Bravo should be pissed about Mauricio revealing stuff on Netflix on his show, but I would say a lot of what he’s revealing is his story to tell and a lot and what Kyle is revealing on Beverly Hills is her side of the story.’
‘So, people think, “Oh, Bravo should be furious. Why is he saying this on his show?” Well, it’s his show on Netflix and I think,’ he adds.
‘He doesn’t have a diamond. Kyle has the diamond,’ Andy’s co-host John Hill said.
‘Exactly and you know, I think that in the case of this Hilton and Highland stuff, I can’t speak for Kyle on any level, but my gut is that there was probably so far she wanted to go on her show because she didn’t want to further complicate an already complicated relationship with her sister, so there you go.
‘But I did take the opportunity tonight as we were discussing what happened with Mauricio and Kyle‘s marriage to also find out from Kathy and Kyle from their perspective what happened with the split between Mauricio and Rick Hilton, so you don’t have to wait for the Netflix show to get their answer. You can see that tonight on Bravo.’
Andy’s statements come after Paris Hilton blasted Mauricio, her uncle, for publicly discussing the family feud.

Nowadays Mauricio is a real estate broker with his own company – but he used to work with Paris’ father Rick at the real estate agency Hilton & Hyland.
Now Paris has leapt into the fray, denouncing Mauricio for ‘using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show.’
‘My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘He would never speak negatively about his family — especially in the press. Frankly we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It is enough already..’

In a Twitter preview for his series Buying Beverly Hills, Mauricio can be seen discussing his departure from the Hilton fold.
The dashing reality star explained that he wanted to become a partner at the company but ‘got kind of f***ed by Hilton & Hyland.’
He laid out his version of events: ‘And when I say: “f***ed,” you know, like, today I’m happy, but there was 100 agents at Hilton & Hyland. They did a billion dollars for the first time a year, I was 19.6% of their production, and I went to Rick and said: “I’d really like equity, right? And to be a partner.”‘
To hear Mauricio tell it, Rick then took the matter to Hilton & Hyland’s president Jeffrey Hyland and came back with no for an answer.
‘Then I went home,’ said Mauricio: ‘I talked to Kyle, I go: “This is really gonna cause a lot of stress between you and your sister and your family, and I don’t wanna do this move of leaving and starting a company if you’re not comfortable.”‘
Kyle however ‘was 100% supportive,’ and Mauricio broke away from Hilton & Hyland to embark on his own enterprise, The Agency.
His old bosses, he recalled, asked: ‘How did you not give us any warning or any issue?’ prompting Mauricio to incredulously respond: ‘Warning?’

At present a question mark is still hanging over the state of the marriage, as they have separated but have denied they are headed for divorce
In a confessional, Mauricio diplomatically said: ‘I think Hilton & Hyland is an amazing company and I would never be caught dead speaking poorly about them because I don’t think poorly about them, and I am Rick’s brother-in-law.’
He added: ‘But unfortunately it got sour because it really affected the family – Kyle more than anybody. You know, her family stopped speaking to her, but she understood that what was done to me was wrong and she stood by me, and at the end of the day, I needed that.’
Kylie and Mauricio married in 1996 and have since welcomed three daughters into the world together – Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16.
Mauricio also became close with Kyle’s eldest daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 35, whom she had with her first husband, real estate developer Guraish Aldjufrie.
At present a question mark is still hanging over the state of Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage, as they have separated but have denied they are headed for divorce.
When their split went public last summer, Kyle and Mauricio jointly confessed that they were experiencing difficulties in their relationship.
Kyle then set off a frenzy of speculation that she was indulging in a dalliance with country songstress Morgan Wade.
The conjecture went into overdrive when Kyle and Morgan kissed in one of the latter’s music videos, but Kyle has denied any real-life romance between them.

However, during a recent after-show segment of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, she admitted she would be open in general to dating a woman.
Over the course of the separation, Kyle and Mauricio have stayed notably friendly, enjoying quality time together with their daughters.
The breakdown of their marriage unfolded in front of reality TV cameras on the latest season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
On part three of the reunion, which is set to air this Wednesday, Kyle and Mauricio will be seen baring their souls about their relationship issues.
‘Part 3, I think, is the hardest one for me,’ Kyle told Entertainment Tonight in a new interview promoting the upcoming episode.
‘I knew that day the last part was gonna be the most difficult part, so I was just praying and meditating and waiting for that to end. It ended up in a very strange, weird, kind of odd way, but…. I’m still standing so that’s a good thing.’
As for the general status of the marriage, she cryptically remarked: ‘I would like to believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. Each day gets easier in one way and a little sadder in other way. It’s a challenging time right now, but we’re very amicable.’
Kyle explained: ‘We love each other and care about each other. We love our family. I feel like we’re very fortunate that we’re handling it the way that we are. I don’t know if many people can do that. We’ll figure it out.’

Meanwhile, Kyle and Kathy were seen locked in a seething battle of wills on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills in 2022 and 2023.
The feud came to a head in 2022 during a cast trip to Aspen, when Lisa Rinna decided to drink Kendall Jenner’s 818 tequila instead of the Casa Del Sol imprint that Kathy had invested in with her daughters Paris and Nicky.
Kathy felt personally insulted and flew into a rage – which was compounded by what she regarded as Kyle’s failure to stand up for her.
Lisa then claimed that Kathy – in a private, alcohol-fueled conversation with her – ranted about her problems with her sister and declared: ‘I will destroy Kyle and her family if it’s the last thing I ever do.’
Kathy staunchly denied making any such remark, but the accusation was stinging enough that she and Kyle stopped speaking afterwards.
Kyle and Kathy managed to mend fences months later, before they both had to attend their niece Whitney Davis’ wedding.
