Andrew Garfield fans are convinced the actor has a ‘crush’ on Selena Gomez.
The speculation kicked off on Friday night at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, when Garfield, 41, appeared to give Selena Gomez a long, lingering look on the red carpet.
The Spider-Man star, 41, also grabbed the Only Murders in the Building actress’, 32, hand during the starry event.
Footage of Garfield admiring Gomez quickly went viral, with fans taking to social media to weigh in on their ‘chemistry.
One Gomez fan commiserated with the longing look on Andrew’s face, commenting, ‘Me too Andrew, me too,’ while another wrote, ‘It’s not too late Selena.’
Someone else expressed, ‘THIS would be the dream couple!!,’ while another fan said, ‘Man the way he clasped her hand.’

Considering the Wizard of Waverly Place alum’s recent engagement to music producer Benny Blanco 36, several fans commented that Garfield was a little late to the party with his crush on Selena.
But one fan summed it up well. ‘Wreck that home Andrew.’ Others pointed out that Andrew had plenty of time to make his move during the six years Selena was single before she started dating Blanco.
For the festival, Selena looked lovely in an all white, three-piece, well-tailored suit and wore her raven hair pulled back into an elegant updo.
Her gorgeous six carat diamond marquise engagement ring from her fiancé glimmered from her left ring finger.
Andrew, meanwhile, looked dapper in a brown suit and chambray blue shirt.
Selena was at the film festival to celebrate her film Emilia Perez which is the recipient of the festival’s prestigious Vanguard Award.
Along with Gomez, the film’s costars Karla Sofia Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, and Edgar Ramírez will be presented with the award.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Selena ran into Wicked’s Ariana Grande and had what fans called an awkward moment.

Many of their fans were ecstatic to see them hanging out, but others branded the moment as ‘forced’ and ‘awkward.’
A nine-second clip showed Selena and Ariana, 31, talking excitedly together, before they wrapped their arms around one another.
But immediately after the hug, Ariana turned away from Selena – despite the fact that Selena appeared to still be saying something to her.
Selena then seemed to give Ariana – who wasn’t even looking at her anymore a bizarre curtsy. She bent her knees before quickly rising again.
After noticing Ariana’s back was to her, Selena then began to walk away, but the Wicked actress, who opted for a strapless light blue silk gown, turned back around and tried to grab her hand.
The clip was shared by the popular X account PopBase, and many rushed to the replies to share their thoughts.
‘Ariana is so annoying for looking back while Selena was saying nice things to her. Who TF does that?’ one person asked.
‘That looked awkward,’ another agreed. ‘This is so fake and forced,’ someone else added.

Selena famously rose to fame as a teenager after she starred as Alex Russo on the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, while Ariana was shot to stardom at age 17 thanks to her role in the Nickelodeon show Victorious.
