Anastacia tucked into a pork chop during a chaotic cooking segment on Wednesday’s This Morning, despite being a vegetarian.
The American singer, 55, who joined host Alison Hammond and Dermot’s O’Leary had joining the programme to discuss her new German-inspired album but became distracted when she smelt Ainsley Harriott’s cooking.
The chef served up his midweek Malta-inspired pork chops, inspired by his recent travels, and Anastacia just could not resist.
Strolling over to the kitchen, she perched herself in between Alison and Dermot while asking if they had any left overs.
‘I do not eat meat, people! This is the truth,’ she exclaimed while taking a bite of the meat.

Ainsley questioned: ‘Have I inspired you to go back?’
Clearing her plate, Anastacia responded: ‘This is the perfect breakfast!’
‘Are you really a veggie?’, asked Alison, prompting the singer to respond: ‘Yeah! I don’t eat meat.’
Dermot added: ‘That’s absolutely mortifying, I’m so sorry.’
‘Well, if he’s cooking for me I might have to convert,’ she said.
Taking to X, fans of the programme shared their thoughts, with one commenting: ‘Can you check if Anastacia is ok? She’s a veggie who just munching on a pork chop.’
‘Omg belly laughing at #Anastacia I’m a veggie you know as she’s tucking into a pork chop. Why not she says!’ another added.
Someone else quipped: ‘Just watched “vegetarian” Anastacia sit and eat pork chops on #ThisMorning WTF!’

Elsewhere, Anastacia shed light on how her eighth studio album, Our Songs, came about as it features mostly translated interpretations of German rock songs.
She explained: ‘Someone came to me and asked me to translate all these German songs to English and thought I should just go for it. A famous band in Germany gave me their song to translate.
‘I struggled through it. I wrote 8 or 9 songs on the album. I learnt the melody first and I had no idea what the words were saying. Google translate is fired that didn’t work. So, I hired a professor to tell me what it meant.
‘It’s been a tremendous success we are number one or two in the charts each week. I have a good fan base there. I thought it would be a career breaker, not a maker. It’s been fun.’
Our Songs debuted at number 2 on the German Album Charts in September last year.
