Marciano’s father Paul Marciano, 73, is the co-founder of Guess.
The heir is the Chief New Business Development Officer for Guess? Inc and has also worked in brand partnerships and specialty marketing for the company.
His responsibilities in the role include everything from ‘juggling multiple tasks from oversight of the build-out of wholesale accounts to opening brand-dedicated concept stores to ensuring the brand line incorporates vintage Guess elements from the 1980s,’ according to Sourcing Journal.
The executive told the site: ‘Sustainability and performance will play a large part in the dialogue.’
Guess? Inc was founded in 1981 by brothers Paul, Maurice, and Armand Marciano. The company was established after the Marciano brothers left France to pursue the ‘American dream’ in the US.
The brand has been known for featuring celebrities like Anna Nicole Smith, Claudia Schiffer, Jennifer Lopez and, more recently, Sydney Sweeney in its ads.
