Amber Rose opened up about how she was ‘canceled’ for being a supporter of Donald Trump last year.
The 41-year-old model admitted she lost fans for when Trump was running for reelection but is not too worried as she still on the cover of Maxim.
For her February 2025 cover story, she addressed the criticism and also revealed she is considering her own future in politics.
‘During the election, I was “canceled”,’ she recalled. ‘Now? All the naysayers are quiet. They see he’s already changing our country for the better.’
The reality TV star — who responded to the major backlash she received in October 2024 after she accused Beyoncé of copying her speech at a Kamala Harris rally — criticized people with left-leaning political views and stressed the importance of having more ‘open conversations.’
‘Unfortunately, the “woke” left cancels people for having a different ideology,’ she said.

‘Fortunately for me, I don’t give a f*** and will always stand 10 toes down until the wheels fall off, regardless of what my beliefs may be.’
Rose also reflected on her past preference for liberal-leaning policies and explained why she changed her political stance in recent years.
‘I used to be on the left and thought I was doing the right thing,’ she said. ‘That’s why it’s so important to have open conversations.’
She also said she believes that there is ‘no objective truth’ and ‘only feelings’ from left-leaning individuals.
‘As a society, we all need to get back to reality and have these difficult conversations to bring us all back to a better place.’
During her conversation with the outlet, the model also spoke about her latest venture and mused over her potential, future career in politics.
‘I’m excited to announce my new show. It’ll be my opinion on politics and other current events,’ she teased without revealing further details about her new project.
When asked if she wanted to pivot into politics, she answered: ‘Maybe. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m definitely in love with it.’

On the first day of the convention in Milwaukee in July 2024, she gave a speech that praised Donald Trump and his policies.
She also spoke about how she changed her political views after previously opposing him in 2016.
In support of the now-president, she told millions of Americans: ‘Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay or straight. It’s all love. These are my people. This is where I belong.’
Even though she faced criticism as one of Trump’s staunch supporters in the frequently left-leaning Hollywood, she said she has no regrets about standing up for her own beliefs.
