Amber Rose, 41, reveals the very surprising reason why she removed her BBL in shocking new interview

Amber Rose has revealed the very surprising reason behind why she removed her BBL in a shocking new interview this week.

The American model, 41, sat down for an interview with Shannon Sharpe for the Club Shay Shay podcast and confessed that she had a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).

She then went on to explain that the procedure limited her lifestyle as she could not exercise correctly. 

Amber explained: ‘I got my butt done and then I got everything taken out.  I got my butt done when it was in style. A big stupid fat a**. And I got it taken out.’ 

To which quizzed why people are now having regrets after having the procedure. 

Amber responded: ‘Well I think its because it was the style at the time, right? Just wanting a big ol’ fat a** and then when you go to the gym you can’t really run on the treadmill because your a** is heavy as hell. And then you wanna go and get it taken out.’

But Amber went on to explain that it wasn’t just the women who had plastic surgery as she revealed that men also get fake six-packs.

Elsewhere in the interview, Amber revealed that her grandmother took her own life when her mother was just 10 years old as she spoke about her difficult childhood.

She detailed having to ‘raise herself’ amid her mom Dorothy’s mental health problems who was just 10 when her own mother died.

Amber said she felt like she couldn’t go to her mom with problems when she was growing up as she didn’t want to ‘burden’ her further.

She said: ‘My mom’s mom committed suicide when she was 10. My mom suffered severely from anxiety and depression most of my life. 

‘I became her mom at a very young age, and I like had to raise her and say, ‘Everything is going to be okay. 

‘It’s okay to cry. For many years I resented my mom for that.’

‘How can I help you or what can I do?’ But being 10-years-old and seeing your mom commit suicide, it’s definitely not easy to live with… 

She then went on to explain that the procedure limited her lifestyle as she could not exercise correctly

‘Even when I had trials and tribulations in my life, I felt like I couldn’t burden my mom with those things. I had to just suck it up, be a G and deal with it. 

‘I already knew that she had a lot on her plate emotionally that I didn’t want to add to that, and so I just would internalize it or deal with it by myself.’

Dorothy shares Amber with her ex husband Michael Levonchuk. Dorothy and Amber have had various public appearances and social media posts together.

Amber’s parents divorced when she was younger, and her father remarried.
