Strictly Come Dancing’s Amber Davies has confessed she is feeling like ‘trash’ after a ‘gut-wrenching’ dance off, which saw Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink be eliminated.
The Love Island winner, 29, and the former Chelsea footballer, 53, found themselves in the bottom two despite both being two of the highest scorers of the week.
Amber and Nikita Kuzmin scored 33 for their Cha Cha Cha to Break Free by Ariana Grande, meanwhile Jimmy and Lauren Oakley scored 30 for their American Smooth to Purple Rain by Prince.
But after performing again, judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke unanimously voted to keep Amber in the competition.
And now she has taken to Instagram to confess that she now feels like ‘trash’ as she held up a framed picture of her and Nikita on Strictly.
In the clip, she posed over a voice-over that said: ‘I woke up this morning and I felt like absolute garbage, for anyone who wants to know what garbage is, that is French for trash’.

Alongside the post, she penned: ‘A gut-wrenching evening in the dance off, especially dancing against two of the most amazing people I’ve met on this experience, @official_jfhasselbaink & @laurenmayoakley.
‘I feel extremely lucky & thankful to be able to experience Halloween week on Strictly, but there will be two very special people missed.
‘ If you voted for us, really really thank you, I guess this week we aim for a comeback week?! Thank you for holding my extremely shaky hands extra tight’.
When Jimmy, who achieved his highest score of the competition on Saturday, was voted off he said he had ‘absolutely loved’ his time on the show.Â
He then added: ‘The only thing you can do is dance as best as you can and then it’s up to the public.Â
‘I was actually quite happy to dance again because I wanted to do better than my previous one.Â
‘So listen, I have had a blast. From the people up there [pointing to the other couples], to the judges – thank you very much for your comments.’
His professional dance partner Lauren said she was ‘gutted’ about his exit and added: ‘We have had the best time and I am so proud of how far he has come.Â

‘And it proves that anyone can be a dancer if you put your mind to it. He’s a footballer! And he just danced like that.
‘We’ve had the best time and I’m just so proud and I feel honoured to have been able to teach you. You’ve been an amazing student.’
It comes after presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced they will depart the show at the end of the series.
Claudia, 53, said: ‘We thank you for your beautiful messages. We’ve got another eight weeks on this incredible show and a Strictly champion to crown.’
Tess, 56, added: ‘We cannot wait to spend the rest of the series with you and our incredible couples.’
The remaining ten couples will take to the dancefloor for a Halloween special, when Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday 1 November at 6.35pm.
