Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke is engaged.
On Monday night at a private art gallery in Manhattan, her longtime boyfriend Will Bracey, 36, got down on one knee and popped the question.
‘It is the best day of my life. It’s wonderful, truly wonderful,’ the pop star, 30, told People in an interview that took place a few minutes after the music executive proposed.
‘I had no idea. No idea. When he did it, I was just in pure shock,’ Ally – who revealed she was still a virgin when she was 27 – said.
‘I’ve been planning it all year, and New York was always our city – it’s where we fell in love,’ Bracey said. ‘And who’s not a fan of Christmastime in New York?’

The couple met when he became the tour manager for Fifth Harmony in 2015 and started dating later that year.
Even thought the couple has been together for eight years, Ally has known Will was the one since the beginning of their relationship.
‘I knew the moment that I…truly, when I saw him, I fell in love with him,’ she explained, ‘but I knew about a year in that he was the one for me.’
Bracey added: ‘She’s easy to love.’
And when it comes to the ring, the bride-to-be could not stop raving about it.
‘Oh my goodness, it was beautiful. I was awe-struck,’ she said. ‘It fits like a glove, and it looks so beautiful on me. I’m just…I’m at a loss for words. I’m still in shock!’
Ally is excited for what lies ahead, saying: ‘I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Will and just share the beautiful memories that we will create together as one.
‘That is wonderful and very special to me.’

After the proposal, Bracey said: ‘We always used to just walk around New York and dream – even early days of Fifth Harmony and stuff, we would always just dream.so I feel like that would be special to do tonight.’
The engagement comes on the heels of a mini Fifth Harmony reunion with Dinah Jane on Ally’s holiday EP Under the Tree. The former bandmates since a duet of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
It is the first time any members of Fifth Harmony have teamed up since the band broke up in 2018.
Ally also released her latest single, Gone to Bed, in September.
