Allison Janney has revealed that she has had an experience so awful with a co-star that she would never work with him again and luckily she won’t have to.
The 65-year-old veteran actress – who recently showed off a bombshell new look – got candid during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night.
She was on the program with her The Diplomat co-star Keri Russell as they played a game where they held up paddles to ‘agree’ or ‘disagree’ with the statements made by the 57-year-old host.
The interesting point came up with Cohen said: ‘There is a past co-star I refuse to work with again.’
Both Janney and Russell, 49, agreed with the statement and the Bravo boss responded: ‘Extra points if you name names.’
The Mom star replied: ‘Well, mine is no longer with us. So I really couldn’t work with him again, even if I wanted to.’

The actress won acclaim for her role as C.J. Cregg in long-running political drama The West Wing (pictured)
This obviously piqued the interest of Russell and Cohen as they tried to get Janney to drop the name but she held strong and did not reveal it.
She said: ‘No, I’m not saying it. I will not be lulled into a false sense of safety being in this small, little club.’
Many commenters on the YouTube segment and on The West Wing subreddit have tried to figure out who Janney was referring to.
It is definitely a tall task as the award-winning actress has over 150 credits to her name including her work on the big screen in 2002’s The Hours, 2007’s Hairspray, 2007’s Juno, 2011’s The Help, and most recently The Roses.
However it was her work on the aforementioned political drama The West Wing which had many people guessing could be the answer.
Some of the names fans had speculated from the show included Matthew Perry who died in 2023, John Spencer who died in 2005, Hal Holbrook who died in 2021, Roger Rees who died in 2015, Ron Silver who died in 2009, and John Amos who passed away last year.
Meanwhile in Janney’s most recent role she plays Evelyn Rollins who is the copper haired, self-styled ruler of an exclusive Floridian beach club’s wealthy female clique, but it was all change as the woman responsible for playing her stepped out on Tuesday evening.
Debuting a new blonde look as West Hollywood venue The Sun Rose hosted the season two launch of Palm Royale, Janney looked vastly different while posing for red carpet photos with her co-stars.

Gone was the tousled ginger bob favored by Rollins. Gone too was the shorter, sleeker look she revealed during a season three screening of The Diplomat on October 14.
Instead, Janney, 65, opting for a longer and notably lighter hairstyle as she celebrated the return of her hugely popular Apple TV show.
The actress inevitably claimed the spotlight after joining Kaia Gerber, Lisa Rinna, Leslie Bibb and John Stamos at the Hollywood event.
Palm Royale follows the fictional Maxine Simmons, played by Kristen Wiig, an ambitious woman who schemes her way into late sixties Palm Beach high society.
Palm Royale season two premieres November 12 on Apple TV+.
