His former boss Ellen DeGeneres was among the first to leave a comment as she said, ‘It’s a beautiful day. Sending you all so much love.’
Ellen also shared her own tribute.
The 65-year-old former talk show host — who recently discussed what’s next for her — shared a photo of the two on Instagram along with a brief but heartfelt caption.
Posting to her 139 million followers, she wrote, ‘Happy birthday, tWitch. I love you and I always will.’
Thousands of likes quickly poured in from fans mourning the DJ-turned-producer.
Holker shared a different post on Thursday, uploading a slideshow of various images and reflecting on life without her spouse.
‘Life lately… So proud of my angels! Allowing love to stay in our hearts guiding us and leading us,’ she began.
‘There are some really hard moments. We have had some really hard days, but we lean on each other and lift each other up,’ she added.
The caring parent noted, ‘We start every morning by saying .. ‘We do the hard things!’ It’s our most vulnerable moments that keep us stronger together and forever!’
Moving forward: Allison has taken to social media to share how she and her children are coping following tWitch’s untimely death less than one year ago
In February he was honoured at a celebration of life ceremony.
Holker hailed him as a ‘light’ in her speech at the Los Angeles service.
According to People, she also told mourners: ‘He chose love, grace and kindness. And he deserves to be celebrated.’
Allison and Stephen’s daughter Weslie also spoke at the event, hosted by family pastor Joe Smith, while Mickey Guyton and Andy Grammer performed for guests.
Remembering him: Ellen DeGeneres paid tribute to her late friend Boss on what would have been his 41st birthday
Friendship: The comedienne began working with Boss in 2014 when he was hired as a guest DJ on her talk show. He had worked his way up to co-executive producer by 2020
Around 500 attendees turned out for the service, included DeGeneres and her talk show’s entire cast and crew, as well as Wayne Brady, Loni Love and Derek Hough.
Comedian Loni, 51, posted a picture of the program on Instagram and said: ‘Goodbye King Twitch.’
Allison, who married Stephen in 2013, said in a statement at the time of his death: ‘It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us.
‘He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.’
Stephen is said to have been working on TV projects with Allison at the time of his death, and was laid to rest at a private funeral in January.
Allison earlier this month filed for half her partner’s estate as he died without a will and she and other relatives have launched the Move With Kindness foundation that aims to honour the late choreographer’s legacy by ‘spreading love and mental health awareness’.
