Hollyoaks fans are set for another action-packed week of episodes, as questions remain about the identity of Rayne Royce’s killer.

James’ determination to get her ex Brent to confess to the crime takes a dark new turn, while it becomes clear his absent son Romeo is still hiding something.

Elsewhere, Yazz is rushed to hospital after continuing to suffer from health problems, sparking concern from her mother Misbah.

And Dave’s drug problems take a shocking new turn when someone else discovers his secret stash, leading to an arrest.

James’ plot takes a dark turn

What’s going on? James’ determination to get her ex Brent to confess to the crime takes a dark new turn, while it becomes clear his absent son Romeo is still hiding something

More videos of Rayne continue to resurface, painting Romeo out to be the perfect suspect. 

James is determined to get a confession out of Brent, recruiting Ste to help in order to keep Peri’s name off the suspect list. 

Leela reveals that Peri insists on Brent’s innocence and loses it with James when she finds out he is trying to make Brent confess to the murder, but a phone call between Peri and Romeo suggests that the pair have something to hide…

At the Nightingales, Brent’s mother appears to accuse James of having her son attacked in prison, resulting in his confession to the murder. 

Even Ste begins to question his husband’s motives to protect Romeo – what is he hiding?

Will Lacey leave the village?

What will she do? Lacey is tempted by a new job offer as she continues to struggle after Rayne’s murder

Elsewhere, Rayne’s fans continue to parade the Hollyoaks Village.

Nadira pushes Lacey to move on following Brent’s confession leading to the pair clashing once again. 

James asks Lacey to help him put an end to Brent’s mum’s social media posts on Rayne’s account.

At the shared house, Lacey comes bearing flowers and an apology for Nadira. 

She shares the news about her new job offer and agrees to go out and celebrate with Nadira – is she keeping something from her girlfriend?

Dave’s drugs land someone else in hot water

Dave scores a new contract working for Rafe, hoping it will help free him from the Osbornes and away from Jack’s nagging. 

Later, he reveals to Cindy that Rafe has let him go after finding somebody else to finish the job. 

He turns down a drink with his girlfriend, claiming that he has arranged a lad’s night out but viewers quickly learn that this is not the case…

Meanwhile, Dave continues to lie to the people he loves and Cindy convinces him to join her at The Dog with Tony. 

Talk of the past between Cindy and Tony starts to get to her new boyfriend and he turns to drugs. 

Later, he lashes out on the group and Ethan quickly picks up on Dave’s familiar behaviour, but when Tony finds his secret stash on the floor in front of Police Officer Zoe, will he confess?

Yaz’s health takes a worrying turn

At the Maaliks, Yazz continues to suffer from her menopause symptoms, lashing out on Tom. He opens up to Zain and Misbah vows to get the bottom of their relationship problems. 

Yazz’s health deteriorates, her mum rushes her to A&E to get some answers for her recent behaviour. While Peri is examining her, Yazz harasses her for updates about Rayne’s case, causing Peri to explode. 

Yazz prepares to get her hospital results, but when the wait gets too much for Misbah she checks the results herself – what will she find?
