In May, it was revealed that Alison had put her Birmingham home on the market on the very same day that Phillip Schofield quit This Morning.
The beloved presenter listed her £700,000 home in Solihull in the Midlands where she lived with son Aiden for three years.
At the time it was reported that Alison may have placed her house on the market so she could move closer to west London, after increasing her hosting duties on This Morning.
A source told The Sun: ‘The timings are entirely coincidental but are, perhaps, telling. Alison loves that house but wants a fresh start. She’s incredibly in demand.
‘It’s looking highly likely she will be asked to do more days a week on This Morning — and therefore she will be spending more time in London.’
Alison’s Birmingham abode boasts a hot tub, dining room and open-plan spacious kitchen, as well as a huge garden.

Last month, Alison shared a glimpse of her bedroom in her Birmingham home, after being surprised by comedian Michael McIntyre during his Big Show.
Alison was startled as Michael and his camera crew woke her up and ask her to take part in his midnight gameshow.
A stunned Alison asked Michael: ‘What time is it?’, to which Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley, 56, appeared and told her: ‘1:30am’.
Alison, who first found fame on Big Brother in 2002, said: ‘Marcus, hello Marcus’, before telling Michael: ‘I love this show. Babes, I’ve got no make-up on.’
To which he told her: ‘Don’t worry we’ve got a glam squad for you.’
Alison’s hair stylist and make-up artist then rushed in and gave her a 30 second makeover, while Marcus counted down the clock.
Alison has continued to host This Morning on Fridays alongside Dermot O’Leary, with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard making their debut as the permanent main hosts earlier this week.
