Alicia Silverstone’s son Bear Blu Jarecki – who’s turning 13 on May 5 – has officially surpassed her 5ft5in stature as they stood side-by-side while on vacation in Costa Rica on Thursday.
The 47-year-old Clueless alum and her pre-teen were visiting Gustavo Vargas Cordoba’s artisanal 100% Arabic coffee experience at his high-altitude farm Café Viñas in Capellades.
Alicia and Bear also had fun visiting a waterfall in the rainforest.
The inseparable mother-son duo coordinated in matching black tops and shorts to go cliff diving.
Before Silverstone – who boasts 9.6M social media followers – jumped in to the water, she squealed in the video: ‘I’m scared for some reason!’

Alicia made headlines in 2022 when she confessed she still shared a bed with her only child because it felt natural.
‘Bear and I still sleep together,’ Silverstone admitted on The Ellen Fisher Podcast.
‘If you were in any kind of wild setting where there are animals…if you put your baby over there, your baby is going to get eaten. It’s not ideal for the baby to be over there.’
The two-time Daytime Emmy nominee also included a snap of her bare feet in the tub of her open-air bathroom in her Instagram slideshow.
Alicia – who went vegan in 1998 – posted two snaps of the kind of plant-based foot she’s been eating in the Central American country.
‘Eating delicious food, white water rafting, and spending quality time with my son. Costa Rica has amazing so far!’ Silverstone captioned her post.
Oscar nominee Juliette Lewis commented: ‘I definitely want to go on this trip.’
