Alfie Boe has enjoyed his fair share of romances since his marriage broke down in 2020, but now it seems that his ex-wife Sarah has found a new love of her own and has even prompted speculation of an engagement.
Having been married to opera star Alfie, 51, with whom she has two children – Grace, 17 and son Afred, 13 – for 16 years, Sarah was a red carpet regular with her famous husband.
But now the mother-of-two has shared loved up photos of her enjoying the great outdoors in the US in Sun Valley, looking cosy with real estate professional Adam Mulcock and several friends.
Sarah who is American by birth and has since relocated back to the States with their children, shared a message, describing her sense of having found her happy place.
She penned: ‘This summer trip to my family cabin just outside Sun Valley is so special to me.
‘It’s a time to completely get away from the stresses of the world and life and clear my head. No phones, no internet, just getting to simply be. And be with the people I love.’

Fashion designer Savannah Miller, sister of actress Sienna, congratulated her friend on finding happiness.
She wrote: ‘This is so magical, I’m very happy for you beautiful lady.’
Earlier this year, Sarah who works as a personal trainer and life coach in Salt Lake City where she now lives, shared another reel where she looked in one photo to be wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger. She captioned the photo, ‘New beginnings.’
Classical crossover singer Alfie had been married to Sarah since 2004 and the couple lived with their children in the Cotswolds since 2018, having previously lived as a family in the US.
But holed up together during the Covid pandemic in 2020, all their troubles came brimming to the surface and they made the decision to separate.
A source told The Sun: ‘It seems lockdown was just too much for Alfie and Sarah. They have found their relationship increasingly strained, and he says they’ve now made the decision to separate. He’s a doting dad and wants to keep things amicable for the sake of the kids, but he’s ready to move on.’
There were also rumours of infidelity on Alfie’s part, but in 2022, the singer confessed to feeling very depressed after his breakup with his wife and even went to rehab following an overdose, after going to a ‘really dark place.’
Speaking on BBC reality show Freeze the Fear with Wim Hoff which he competed in 2022, he said: ‘When my separation happened initially, I went into a really dark place.
‘It’s weird to talk about, I’ve not spoken about this in public, but I’m willing to, if it can help anyone out there that needs that.’

He continued: ‘I’d gone through beating myself up and hating myself and not having any love for myself and it resulted in a foolish act of throwing some pills down my throat because I’d lost my way.
‘I ended up in a rehabilitation facility for about five weeks and it was a scary time.’
It was previously alleged that Alfie had enjoyed secret dates with another woman while married – before dedicating a song to wife Sarah as his shocked lover sat in the audience.
According to The Sun, the West End star, started exchanging messages with the woman, who is said to be a broadcaster 16 years his junior, from December 2018 for five months, until his performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall in April 2019.
A source told the publication: ‘She was sat in the friends and family section, and when Alfie said he was dedicating The Way You Look Tonight to “someone special” she nudged her pal thinking he meant her.
‘When he paid tribute to Sarah — after claiming for months that he wasn’t happy — and then blocked her that same night, it made her feel worthless.’
The source added of Alfie: ‘Alfie was so charming that she fell for him completely. He even rang her at midnight on New Year’s Eve, which she really appreciated.’
Alfie has not commented on the reports.

The pair were said to have enjoyed some private dinners towards the end of 2022 and when Hannah hosted Eurovision in 2023, reports emerged that Alfie had been ‘snuck in’ backstage, but their relationship was said to have fizzled out.
Meanwhile his ex-wife Sarah moved back to America with their two children to be closer to her family, in Utah.
In an interview in February 2024, Alfie spoke about how he manages his relationship with his children, living abroad.
He said: ‘I have a 15-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son who live with their mother in America, and we’ve had some great holidays in California.
‘Their destination of choice is usually Universal Studios in Florida. The last time we visited my daughter insisted on spending the whole day in the Hogwarts zone.’
