Alex Scott was all smiles as she was greeted by the friends and family on arrival at the post-camp hotel after being the first star to leave the I’m A Celebrity jungle.Â
The former Lioness, 41, was the first contestant to be voted off I’m A Celebrity on Friday night as she opened up about ‘mentally tough’ experience.
Alex was made vulnerable after the favourite to leave first, comedian Eddie Kadi, was exempt from the public vote because he won the live trial.Â
After being greeted by her friend Regan Coleman on the iconic bridge, Alex made her way to the Marriott hotel in Surfers Paradise where she met the friends and family of the rest of the cast.
Alex was visibly emotional as she arrived at the hotel on Wednesday night, where she was met by Kelly Brook’s husband Jeremy Parisi, Martin Kemp’s wife Shirlie Holliman and Lisa Riley’s fiance Al Benkovic. Â
Also spotted at the hotel were Shona McGarty’s sister Camilla and Jack Osbourne’s wife Aree Gearhart and their three-year-old daughter Maple.

The pundit got a huge round of applause from her campmates as she quickly grabbed her bag and left the I’m A Celebrity camp for a final time.Â
Speaking to host Ant and Dec, she said: ‘I’m free! It feels strange and doesn’t feel real. Now I’m like, “Oh, I’m out.”‘
Asked whether she is ‘disappointed’ to be the first voted-out, Alex insisted: ‘Oh no! It has been an incredible experience and mentally it has been tough but I am so glad I got to do it with so many amazing campmates.
‘The laughter we have had and we really connected and making the bonds that we did.’Â
Laughing as she was shown her contraband video as she sneaked in salt to add to the rice, Alex laughed explaining: ‘I don’t know how many I took in, I just put them in my sock.
‘The first few days I put it on a spoon and Jack sprinkled it in the rice and so my campmates did know about it.’Â
Ant and Dec asked what was the worse part of her jungle experience as she dropped campmate Martin Kemp in it.Â
Alex explained: ‘The toilet seat situation, the smell is awful and someone keeps leaving the seat up, but we can’t say anything because he is a national treasure.’

Before walking across the iconic bridge, Alex revealed who she wants to win the ITV series: ‘Shona to win, Ginge and Aitch are great and would love to see them in the final, but I think if Shona wins it will give her the confidence.’
The pundit was greeted off the I’m A Celebrity bridge by her friend Regan Coleman as her girlfriend, Jess Glynne, is currently in the UK.
Jess later revealed she was unable to greet Alex Scott on the I’m A Celeb bridge because her mother has suffered a ‘major stroke and underwent brain surgery’.
The Hold My Hand singer, 36, addressed the reason why she wasn’t there to greet her girlfriend of two years off the I’m A Celebrity bridge last night when she became the first campmate to be voted off. Â
An hour after Alex came out the Jungle, Jess took to Instagram to share the tragic news and her disappointment at the football pundit’s lack of airtime.Â
She wrote: ‘My woman might be out far earlier than she ever deserved, but I’m so unbelievably proud of her. She didn’t get the airtime to show how incredible she really is and trust me, this is only the beginning.

‘I know people will wonder why I wasn’t there at the end of the bridge, so I wanted to share something personal.Â
‘Over the last few weeks my mum suffered a major stroke and needed urgent brain surgery. Â
‘It’s been really serious, life-altering time for my family and I’ve had to stay close to home.Â
‘Alex would always want me to be where I’m needed most. I can’t wait to have her back by my side.’Â
