Alex Perry was spotted on Wednesday as he set off for a rigorous gym workout.
The 61-year-old fashion designer flaunted his bulked-up arms in an all black ensemble including a sleeveless T-shirt and fitness pants.
He completed his rugged look with a baseball cap, matching gym sneakers and a thick layer of stubble.
Alex also wore a fingerless weightlifter glove on his left hand and was seen clutching another with his other hand.
Slinging a towel over one shoulder, Alex accessorised with fitness bands on each wrist and also carried a mobile device and a water bottle.
The designer to the stars was later spotted pumping iron under the supervision of personal trainer Simon Di Natale at Sydney’s City Gym.

It comes after Alex shocked followers just two earlier when he was spotted out and about.
The Australia’s Next Top Model judge looked unrecognisable as he dressed down for some grocery shopping at an inner-city supermarket.
Perry wore a white T-shirt he paired with some black grunge cargo pants and accessorised with a pair of sturdy black sneakers, a matching cap and watch with a black band.
He was seen carrying a bag of groceries back to his car, with a bum bag strapped around his right shoulder.
The fashion designer, who is most famous for his womenswear, also made a name for himself in TV as a judge on Australia’s Next Top Model and mentor on Project Runway.
Alex was last seen publicly in October flaunting his new physique as he stepped out at the AusFitness Expo in Sydney.
The renowned designer looked strikingly more muscular as he posed with two models at the expo.
Alex often works out with personal trainer and bodybuilder Simon Di Natale at City Gym in Sydney’s Darlinghurst.

The designer previously said his gym work was as much for his state of mind as his physical well-being.
He told SBS: ‘Going to the gym and working out just keeps me in peak physical and mental condition for whatever I’m faced with in the fashion industry.
‘After the initial year of going to the gym, I grew to hate it and I had to drag myself there, but I really enjoy it now.
‘It makes me less stressed and then I can go home and feel normal.’
Greek-Australian fashion icon Alex, whose real name is Alexandros Pertsinidis, has been married to his wife Mary for over three decades.
Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald about his successful marriage, Alex said Mary was a driving force in establishing his multimillion-dollar fashion empire.
‘She is methodical and likes to plan. I make decisions in an instant and go with my gut.’
Alex’s instincts at times led their marriage into dangerous territory, especially when he made risky career decisions without checking in with Mary first.
‘I don’t know how she didn’t kick me out,’ he confessed.
