He was recently crowned The Celebrity Traitors champion in November.
And it appears that is looking to bag himself yet another prestigious title to add to his repertoire - that of baron.
The comedian, 49, reportedly has the rights to the The Barony of Ayton title, after buying Ayton Castle, for an eye-watering £3.25million.
After spending time at the iconic Ardross Castle last year filming Celebrity Traitors, the TV star decided to splash out on his very own baroque abode in Scotland.
The sprawling estate features a whopping 16 bedrooms, 160 acres of gardens and even its own miniature railway.
And Alan has big plans for the grandiose property, having signed a seven-figure deal with Disney+ to film a series documenting the renovation of the castle into a luxury hotel and spa.

But according to The Sun, the Chattyman star is also considering snapping up the accompanying aristocratic title that comes with Ayton Castle.

An insider told the publication: 'The opportunity came up for Alan to purchase the title along with the castle and, of course, why wouldn’t he consider becoming a baron?
'So now he doesn’t just own a castle, he could officially be Lord of the Manor, and can sign off letters using the new moniker.'
The source added that the funnyman finds the concept of bagging the esteemed accolade 'absolutely hilarious' and thinks most of his celebrity pals will get a kick out of it.

The property brochure for Ayton Castle states that the barony dates back to 1324 and confirms it is available to purchase alongside the estate.
It states: 'This is a feudal barony and was associated with the ownership of land and certain historical rights, rather than a title of nobility conferred by the Crown. Offers for the Barony are welcome through the Selling Agents.'
Alan first shared his plans to buy his own castle earlier this month, during an appearance on his fellow Celebrity Traitor co-star Jonathan Ross' chat show.
He quipped: 'I'm buying a castle. I'm having a midlife crisis. I want a turret to call me own. I'm in my turret era. I fancy a move and I loved being in The Traitors castle, so I thought, "I'm going to get myself one".'
The beloved comic added that he was feeling 'lonely' ahead of his 50th birthday in June and wanted the castle to become a place people would visit and that he could fill with animals like 'a big old zoo'.

'I'm 50 this year - I know I don't look it - and I just want one. I know it sounds very grand,' he said. 'I'm moving from where I am at the minute, I want animals there, I want a community thing.
'I'm lonely where I am. It'll be nice, having people come there and have a cream tea. I want people to come in and have donkeys and stuff everywhere.'
'The estate agent said, "Do you want some Highland cows?" I said, "Yeah, stick them on." I want to re-introduce wolves. If I'm a landowner I can re-introduce wolves.
'That'd be nice. Helps the ecosystem… I read somewhere… maybe I'll have a think about that. I want it to be like a big old zoo, I love it.'
But last week, Alan revealed that he will be renovating the centuries-old estate into a workable home, with his efforts set to be documented on his new Disney+ series.

The show, which has the working title Castle Man, is set to take on a similar set up to his hit home renovation series with Amanda Holden and is reportedly reportedly being produced by Expectation, the same company responsible for .
Alan said of the purchase: 'Some men when they have a midlife crisis buy a Lamborghini or grow a ponytail, but me - I want my very own castle.
'Since I was a boy in Northampton, I've always dreamt big, and have always been enchanted with the history and romance of a stately home.

'As I turn 50, I feel it's time, all I want is a turret to call my own — get me over that drawbridge.'
He continues to be in high demand since winning the hearts of the public on Traitors, and is reportedly .

According to The Sun's TVBiz column, he will join fellow comics including Jack Dee, Tom Allen and Joanne McNally as they hit the road to experience things people say you should do before you die.
The four-part series will see them visit locations across England and Scotland, as well as travel to the likes of Iceland and the Canary Islands.
An insider said: 'This is huge news for Alan who everyone thought would be snapped up by the Beeb after The Celebrity Traitors.
'But now he has been signed up for a show with Disney, another with Prime Video and he already has a third in the pipeline with Netflix.
'Plus, he's currently riding high thanks to the success of Secret Genius on Channel 4. It seems telly bosses can't get enough of him.'
