Alan Carr appeared to be in jovial spirits as he attended a Mariah Carey concert with celebrity hairdresser Callum Heslop.

The comedian, 47, took to Instagram on Monday to share a snap of himself partying with salon owner Callum at Mariah’s much-anticipated Christmas concert.

Alan cut a casual figure in jeans and a red shirt as he threw his hands into the air and appeared to be having the time of his life at the gig.

While Callum looked trendy in a black and white jumper and jeans as he stood smiling alongside Alan for the fun night out.

Alan is currently travelling around the US for his Regional Trinket comedy tour, and Callum appears to have accompanied him on the trip.

The pair have been spending time together in recent months, with Callum taking to Instagram to share a snap of him and Alan at the 2023 Attitude Awards.

In the snap, he wrapped his arms around Alan, who had dressed up as Michael Cera’s character Allan from the Barbie movie to host the awards.

The pair were also seen hanging out with a group of friends in August as Callum featured in a group shot from a sushi restaurant, which Alan shared to Instagram.

Callum is a celebrity hairdresser and colour specialist who owns a salon in Knutsford, Cheshire, and has more than eight years of professional salon experience.

He has high-profile Instagram followers including Alan’s close pal Amanda Holden, Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan, Charlotte Dawson and Love Island’s Molly Smith.

MailOnline has contacted Alan and Callum’s representatives for comment.

Alan and his estranged husband Paul Drayton announced their separation in January 2022, after 13 years together and three years of marriage.

Despite saying they are still friends, Paul recently slammed Alan for claiming that he’d won ‘custody’ of their pal Adele – who married the pair at her Californian home in 2018 – amid their ‘messy divorce’.

In June, Paul – who had previously stayed tight-lipped about the divorce – stated that Adele is ‘closer to me’ following Alan’s remarks on an episode of 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown last August.

Speaking to The Sun On Sunday, Paul said: ‘Adele is one of my best friends and the truth is she was closer to me than Alan. The comments he made were in bad taste. They really upset me, to be honest, as there was also the suggestion I was being greedy.

‘I texted Alan afterwards and said, ‘This is out of order, it’s upset me and it’s upset my mum’.’ He then confirmed that the Chatty Man star didn’t respond.

Paul continued: ‘I sent Adele the same clip and she replied, ‘Just take the high road, babe,’ meaning just ignore it. She is amazing at giving advice, she really is. I know that whenever I need her, she will be there for me because she’s a loyal friend and an incredible person.’

Alan made the aforementioned Adele comments during an appearance on the Channel 4 comedy show in August, in which he took out a series of cut in half props and joked his ex’s lawyer demanded half of everything.

He quipped: ‘I’ve gone through a really spiteful, messy divorce. My ex’s lawyer said take half of everything, look at that.

‘But not just that, household items. Look at that, half a kettle, half a toaster, half a fondue set. All the cheese goes all over the floor.

‘Obviously, people want to know about… we’ve divvied up our celebrity friends. I get custody of Adele. Paul gets Gok at the weekends.

‘We’re still friends. I know he’s taken half of everything. But the one thing he can’t take is my dignity. Am I right?’

Adele got herself ordained so that she could marry the pair at her mansion back in 2018, with the singer paying for their special day as a gift.

Alan and his former husband Paul announced their split with a joint statement in January 2022, which read: ‘After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.

‘They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways. We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time.’
