Despite previously keeping her baby’s gender a secret, Aisling revealed the news during a September appearance on ITV’s Lorraine.
She gushed over the newborn to guest host Christine Lampard, joking: ‘There was a big competition worldwide and it turns out my baby is actually best in the world’.
‘It was actually only voted by myself and my boyfriend but we’re really delighted with the award,’
‘She’s the best that there’s ever been, and a genius as well. You can really tell, just the way her legs move, we might have a genius on her hands. Not that I’m biased anything.’
The actress announced the happy news as she shared an adorable photo of the couple’s ‘little gift’ to Instagram in August – but gave her pregnancy a ‘one star’ review.
Aisling was glowing as she smiled for the Instagram update, with her newborn baby laid on her chest.
She wrote: ‘Trip advisor review of Pregnancy: One star,’ before going on to joke that no breakfast was included and the drinks menu was ‘limited’.
Listing off the negatives, the actress added: ‘UTIs, bleeding, depression, cramps, insomnia, nosebleeds, sinus blockage, migraines, vomiting and being randomly touched by people without asking.’

Adding a short list of positives, Aisling wrote: ‘Bath quite nice. Lots of help with bags at end of stay. Before checking out, nearby kebab shop man provided free extra chips and quite a flirty wink, which I appreciated. Was given a little gift at check out which is, admittedly, quite cute.’
