Lauren Brant and Barry Hall became involved in a public ‘domestic dispute’ on social media this week.
The couple, who have been married since February 2021, both took to Instagram on Friday to involve their followers in an ‘argument’ over the size of their garage.
The social media stoush began when AFL star Barry, 48, shared a video to his Instagram Story which showed him standing shirtless in his driveway.
Standing behind him were two wheelie bins with a car door precariously perched on top – which Barry was keen to paint.
‘Do you reckon I need a bigger garage?’ Barry asked his 41,000 followers.

Lauren Brant and Barry Hall became involved in a public ‘domestic dispute’ on social media this week.

The social media stoush began when AFL star Barry, 48, shared a video to his Instagram Story that showed him standing shirtless in his driveway complaining that there was no space in their garage to paint his car doors
‘I’m about to prime my Monaro doors on freaking wheelie bins. More space, Lauren, come on.’
It didn’t take Lauren, 36, long to respond, quickly shooting down Barry’s request for a larger garage.
Re-posting Barry’s video, Lauren pulled no punches in her response, telling Barry he may need to downsize his car collection instead.
‘Mate, you think you need a bigger garage so you don’t have to… “prime a Monaro door on wheelie bins”,’ she wrote over the video.
‘How about just don’t have 4 cars!!!!’ she added. ‘Bloody first world problems, buddy.’
Not happy with his wife’s response, Barry continued the tit-for-tat, re-sharing Lauren’s clip with a flippant: ‘right-O mate,’ and an angry face emoji.
He then shared another image, showing his car door displaying an eerily similar hue to the wheelie bins underneath.
‘Thought I would tint the primer and camouflage with the bins!!!’ he joked. ‘She won’t even notice.’

It seems the spat was short-lived, however, with Lauren’s next post showing Barry in doting dad mode, with the couple’s youngest son Clay, one, perched on his knee.
‘At least you are a pretty good contribution to cute children,’ Lauren captioned the sweet image, while Barry responded with an emphatic: ‘agree’, with two love heart emojis.
The couple are also proud parents to three sons – Miller, seven, Houston, five, and Samson, three.
Barry’s garage fracas comes after the AFL legend revealed a very surprising career move.
He appeared in the lead role in a music video for the song ‘Keith’ from Melbourne band Playlunch.
In the video, from the self-described ‘bogan funk’ act, Barry portrays a male ‘Karen’ called Keith who accosts his neighbours for parking in his spot.
Barry cuts a foreboding figure in the music video as he shows off his muscles in a blue tank top.
‘Everyone knows a bloke like this… KEITH out now on all streaming platforms. Full video on our YouTube channel,’ the band wrote on Instagram.

‘And in the titular role: the one and only @barryhallofficial.’
In June 2021, the couple confirmed they had secretly married that February and were expecting their third child during an emotional interview on A Current Affair.
They took to Instagram in February 2023 to share their euphoria at reaching their two-year anniversary.
Lauren posted a sweet picture of herself with husband Barry holding up their marriage certificate.
‘Two years, the most romantic elopement fuelled by LOVE and LIFE. Words can’t describe. I love you Barry,’ her post read.
The couple secretly tied the knot so that her terminally ill sister-in-law Sandra could attend the wedding. Sandra was married to Lauren’s brother.
She tragically died just two weeks later, after her second battle with stage-four bowel cancer.
