There may be confusion about the status of Bailey Smith’s romance with Tammy Hembrow – but the footballer’s peers are already calling them the AFL’s power couple.
In a clip posted on Instagram by GQ Australia, attendees at the Brownlow Medal count were asked which WAG and footballer are considered the ‘Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the league.’
Two players were quick to name Bailey and Tammy, including Carlton star Patrick Cripps and GWS player, Finn Callaghan.
‘Probably Bailey Smith and his missus,’ Patrick quipped when asked about the A-list pair.
Finn agreed: ‘I’m not sure if Bailey Smith has brought Tammy Hembrow here, but it would be him, wouldn’t it? Yeah!’
The Geelong player, 24, did not in fact take the influencer, 31, as his date to the lauded awards show.

Instead, Tammy revealed on Instagram she was learning how to scuba dive despite rumours she would be attending the AFL’s night of nights on the arm of the footy star.
Tammy shared a photo of the medical questionnaire she was required to fill out before her lesson.
‘Ya girl is getting scuba certified catch me in the ocean for the rest of my life x,’ she wrote.
Fans took to social media to express their disappointment after her rumoured boyfriend Bailey attended the Brownlow Medal count solo on Monday.
‘I’m so mad at him,’ one person wrote while another said: ‘She’s too busy scuba diving.’
‘She was never going with that loser,’ a third wrote while another simply added: ‘Disappointing.’
Bailey suited up for the occasion in an all-black ensemble, looking dapper in a tuxedo and bow tie.
He wore his signature blonde locks loose and tousled across his shoulders and completed the look with a pair of cool ‘speed dealer’ style sunglasses.

The awards night took place just hours after Bailey broke his silence on his romance with the Gold Coast content creator during an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show on Monday.
He confirmed the pair are ‘just friends’ and revealed Tammy wouldn’t be accompanying him to the Brownlow Medal count, despite weeks of speculation.
‘What’s going on [with you and Tammy]? Are you taking Tammy tonight or not?’ host Kyle Sandilands asked.
Bailey responded: ‘No, I’m not. No. I didn’t want to bore her with footy all night. She’s not a big footy fan. And we’re just mates.’
‘So, you guys aren’t exclusive or boyfriend and girlfriend?’ co-host Jackie Henderson questioned.
Bailey confirmed: ‘No, we’re just mates.’
The AFL star then revealed he was taking his jiu-jitsu instructor to the annual awards night.
