AFL star Kyle Langford has become a father for the first time.
The Essendon player and fiancé Lulu Scott-Young took to social media on Tuesday to announce they welcomed daughter Bonnie Marie on Friday.
Sharing a series of sweet family snaps to their Instagram pages, the couple gushed over the new addition with: ‘Bonnie Maree Langford. Born November 1st… a love like no other.’
The loved-up couple looked relaxed and happy, comfortably slipping into their new role as parents.
The photos showed proud dad Kyle holding onto his precious bundle, who was sound asleep and nestling her face into his chest.
He lovingly held Lulu who beamed broadly as she happily doted on the newborn.
Another photo showed the young family walking down a hospital corridor with Kyle carrying Bonnie in a baby basket.
The post was met with a flurry of well-wishes from fans and friends including Kyle’s Essendon teammate Darcy Parish.

Darcy also became a father for the first time, in July when he welcomed son Tommy, with wife Grace.
‘Amazing! Congrats to you both and enjoy every minute,’ Darcy said.
Grace was also quick to offer her hearty congratulations with: ‘Ahhh Bonnie girl, welcome to this big wide world! Your mumma is amazing congratulations beautiful humans! Enjoy this special time xx’

In the picturesque images, Langford can be seen down on one knee by the ocean, proposing to Scott-Young, who beams with happiness.
The couple wrote beside the images: ‘Mum & Dad are getting Married. Baby Langford coming November 2024 & a lifetime with you.’
The couple’s joyous news was met with an outpouring of congratulations from many of Langford’s current and former teammates.

Kyle and Lulu first rose to prominence last year when Scott-Young, a real estate professional, turned heads and made several best-dressed lists at the Brownlow Medal event.

For the big night, Lulu looked incredible in a yellow pastel maxi dress with a daring split that gave a glimpse at her growing baby bump.
She placed her hand on her belly as she posed up a storm for the cameras, pulling out all the stops with her glamorous look.
Kyle meanwhile, cut a suave figure in a black tuxedo as he proudly stood alongside his pregnant partner.
