Adele is reportedly planning a move back to London after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency later this year.
The singer, 36, and her now husband Rich Paul, 42, bought Sylvester Stallone’s $58million Beverley Hills mansion two years ago, but have knocked most of it to the ground in a huge rebuild.
The singer moved over to Los Angeles back in 2016 and previously said she did so to get more for her money.
But eight years later and with no sign of her Rocky mansion renovation being complete anytime soon, has Adele given up on the American dream for now?
Adele’s assistant Rose Moon moved back to the UK a few weeks ago and is currently organising the singer’s return too, The Sun reported on Thursday.

Of the megastar’s return home, a source said: ‘It is all part of a wider return home and once her Las Vegas shows finish in November she has said she will be coming back.
‘Rose has already moved back to the UK and Adele will be following her. Just like the football, it seems Adele is coming home.’
The source said Adele is a ‘Brit through and through’ which has inspired her desire to return to her roots.
Adele is currently on a break from performing to recharge before she heads back to the states to begin her Vegas Weekends With Adele show in October.
From baby plans to UK gig talks and her supporting England at the Euros this week, we take a look at all the signs the singer is planning a return to her roots…
Baby plans
Adele, who confirmed she married Rich Paul at the end of last year said: ‘Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby’

Adele already has 11-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki but told fans while on stage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas back in May that she is hoping to have a daughter.
The singer – who secretly married Rich towards the end of last year – said: ‘Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby.
‘I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also prob- ably hate the most in the world — that is what I feel will happen.
‘She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?’
The Rolling In The Deep songstress joked the little one will end up being a ‘bossy little queen’ because of the parents she will have.
She said: ‘With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?’

She said at the time when discussions arose about separating their lives: ‘In the end I was like, “We’re not going to. You’ve bought the house opposite my house. Nothing changes for Angelo”.’
UK gigs
Earlier this year, it was reported Adele was in advance talks for a 2024 UK gig which could net the singer £10 million a night. The singer last performed in the UK in 2022 (pictured)
Earlier this year, it was reported Adele was in advance talks for a 2024 UK gig which could net the singer £10 million a night after her Las Vegas residency rekindled her love of performing.
The hitmaker was said to have been offered numerous venues for her homecoming show including the 62K seat Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A source told The Sun in January: ‘Her stage fright has diminished, her voice is really strong and she is ready to do some gigs again in Europe’.
‘Offers have come flooding in. It is up to her how many gigs she wants to do, although we do not expect a full world tour.’
Adele last performed in the UK in 2022 as she headlined two nights at the BST in Hyde Park in London to a 65,000 strong audience.
Watching England
Football fan Adele was seen passionately yelling at England’s rowdy crowd to ‘shut up!’ just before Harry Kane took his penalty during the Three Lions’ Euros semi-final on Wednesday

A funny video shared on Twitter shows the tense moment just before Kane took his shot on goal after the controversial penalty was given.
And as some excitable fans shouted behind her she was quick to swivel round and tell them to be quiet.
While she now has a glamorous lifestyle living in LA far from her Tottenham roots and often rubs shoulders with all her celebrity friends, her cockney accent clearly shone through in the moment.
Fans were quick to react to the hilarious moment saying: ‘SHATAPP!’ Ah we do love Adele over here’,
‘I love her, she’s so brutally honest!’, ‘She was so real here’, ‘This is ICONIC’, ‘let the Queen enjoy the game!’
Weather
Last year, Adele revealed the reason she didn’t want to move back to the UK.
Explaining the reason why, Adele told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘I get really bad seasonal depression, so the weather is good for me. It is strange sometimes, because I’m very British.
‘Because it’s a bit harder for me to go out nowadays, what I love the most about L.A. is everyone goes to each other’s houses. I like that.’
Homes
Adele bought Sylvester Stallone’s eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom home, saddling her with a colossal $37.7million mortgage – but it is being completely rebuilt
Sylvester previously revealed how a statue of his character Rocky from the 1976 American sports drama film, which overlooks the huge outdoor pool, helped secure the deal
Adele previously told British Vogue that she invested in three Beverly Hills mansions in order to get better value for her dollar.
‘The kind of house I have in LA I could never afford in London. Ever,’ the Tottenham native told the outlet.
Adele said that she had ‘looked at houses’ in London before coming to the conclusion and moving Stateside in 2016.
‘It’s like hundreds of millions of pounds,’ she said. ‘I don’t have that much money at all. I’d throw up.’

The actor had been planning on taking the stoneware with him, when Adele insisted she wanted it to stay with the property.
He told the Wall Street Journal: ‘She said: “That’s a no deal. That’s gonna blow the whole deal”. She wanted the statue.’
Adele is now ripping up the massive mansion and making it her own in a huge renovation project.
Pictures of construction show the 18,587 square-foot home has been completely remodelled, two years after the star purchased the property with her husband Rich Paul.
Adele, who is yet to move into the property two years after purchasing it, is reportedly paying ‘millions’ for the extensive list of renovations, including adding a five-car garage and a fire-resistant roof to the pad.
It appears the singer has extended the sprawling property, which already had eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, skywards in order to build a garage to fit multiple luxury vehicles.
