Earlier this week she was seen on the cover of W magazine, Volume 5, The Originals Issue.
The blonde bombshell told writer Alex Hawgood that a certain celebrity had a major impact on her career.
That star is Lana Del Rey whom she joined at London’s Wembley Stadium for a surprise duet of Diet Pepsi.
‘I learned so much about myself and about Lana… Standing beside someone I admire, who lives her truth so gracefully, was life-changing,’ shared the actress. ‘It all came together magically and unexpectedly. That was monumental for me.’
In August Rae said she identified with Del Rey’s ‘perfectionist’ approach.
The singer revealed that the pair have exacting standards when it comes to performing.
Speaking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1, Addison said: ‘It was so fun. Lana is one of the greatest artists of our generation – honestly, of our lifetime. I think she’s just incredible, and so kind and sweet, and so helpful and open.
‘She’s such a perfectionist, which is so inspiring to watch. I’m a perfectionist as well, and she never lets that go away. It’s really nice to see someone that is constantly wanting everything to be perfect for everyone to enjoy.’
Addison had previously hailed Lana, 40, as a ‘divine woman’ after the shows at Wembley.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘I will never forget this. Thank you so much to the most beautiful divine woman, heart, soul, mind…, Lana. I am the happiest and luckiest girl on earth. Being next to you is spiritual. (sic)’

Rae also talked to W magazine about creating her debut album Addison: ‘I’m a very visual person, so everything was mapped out: colors, themes, how I wanted to translate them into a project.
‘I made a binder. I printed out photos and colors and words. Before the album had any sonic world, before there was any audio involved, it was just purely visions, visuals, words.’
On working with Swedish producers Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser: ‘We were three girls in a room…It was a very fun and free-flowing environment.
‘There was no pressure to force ourselves to make an album or a certain number of songs. It just happened gradually over time…We had this really magic moment making Diet Pepsi on the first day we met, which is really crazy and almost seems so unrealistic.’
On forging her own path in the music industry: ‘The magic really happens when you start creating purely for yourself. People connect with it so much more, because there’s something genuine to discover. I seek fearlessness. I want to be honest. I want to follow my gut.’
W Magazine’s Originals Issue is on stands October 14.
