Adam Collard’s ex Rosie Williams has issued a warning to Laura Woods about his toxic behaviour and insists that the sports presenter is ‘too good for him.’
The former Love Island contestant, 32, who starred on the 2018 series with Adam, 27, told MailOnline that it appears her former flame hasn’t matured, judging by his recent TV appearance on Celebs Go Dating and return to Love Island in 2022.
Charity Women’s Aid accused Adam of ’emotional abuse’ during his first stint on the ITV2 series after he appeared to ‘smirk’ when he dumped Rosie for Strictly star Zara McDermott.
And after breaking the rules on Celebs Go Dating this year by bedding his co-star Lottie Moss, Rosie fears Adam could still be set in his old ways.
The ex-solicitor also expressed her ‘shock’ after learning the news of Adam’s new relationship with sports presenter Laura, 36, who is nine years his senior, and a credible figure in the TV industry.

Rosie said: ‘I know Laura Woods from watching sports and I always say how well she has done for herself… her career has excelled… it is incredible to see a woman in the sporting world doing so well.
‘I was just as shocked as everyone else when I was told she was dating Adam. I was told, I don’t actually have Adam on social media.
‘Adam and I were short lived, and it was five years ago now but when he went back on Love Island the second time, I hoped that he didn’t treat the girls the same way that he did with me and Zara McDermott… I hoped that he went on the show to find love as he said.
‘Unfortunately, the same toxic pattern in his behaviour emerged… People like to tell me things and again in Celebs Go Dating, the exact same routine carried through, so he really hasn’t changed. His TV appearances speak for themselves!’
Rosie says that she is often asked what women see in Adam, who has dated a string of reality stars including Kate Moss’s half-sister Lottie and Love Island’s Paige Thorne.
The Geordie gym owner has also romanced a number of girls that he’s met outside of the entertainment industry such as exes Josie Baxter and Claudia Proctor.
She added: ‘When people question “why are people falling for him all the time?” I say, “he is charming and seems really sincere at first”… But I just wonder if he means it this time with Laura because I would hate for somebody else to get hurt by him.’

The TNT Sports presenter was met by a barrage of criticism for her choice of boyfriend, with some fans saying they were ‘disappointed’ and felt Laura had ‘let herself down.’
Many social media users even accused Laura of ‘ignoring red flags’, saying Adam has the ‘worst track record with women’ and she needed to ‘reassess her decision.’
And Rosie agrees that Laura could do better than the reality star, saying she predicts that Adam could be attracted to her fame.
She said: ‘Laura is a beautiful woman, she is ambitious and seems independent, so I hope she has a positive impact on him if not, more fool him.
‘It will definitely be attractive to Adam that she is doing so well in her career and has a lot of male attention… being as knowledgeable as she is about sport, she ticks all the boxes. She has a lot of attractive qualities.
‘Maybe he feels he has finally met his match. Everyone knows her name and her career is going from strength to strength. I know a lot of girls have been in awe of Adam in the past so maybe he’s finally met someone that he feels the same way about.’

Rosie predicts that Adam could be with Laura for her fame but hopes that finally the serial dater could have ‘met his match’
Adam spoke about his romance for the first time this week, explaining that he messaged Laura on Instagram, but he ignored her reply.
After Laura called him out for leaving her on red, the pair eventually met in person, and it wasn’t long before they were officially in a relationship.
The serial dater even says that Laura could be The One, claiming he only gets involved with women that he sees himself with long-term.
He said: ‘I would never get in a relationship with someone at least at one point unless I thought they were The One.
‘Some of the ‘girlfriends’ I’ve had , and I’m saying ‘girlfriends’ because they’re not really girlfriends… they’re just girls I’ve been on one date with, and then suddenly they’re my girlfriend which puts a lot of pressure and stuff, because I would only say I’ve had three or four serious ones.’
