Meg Ryan got candid about aging as she candidly admitted that she is happy where she is.
The 62-year-old star – who appeared at the screening for her rom-com comeback weeks ago – is featured on the cover of the latest edition of Glamour magazine as she looked absolutely stunning and got real about her life and career.
In the accompanying feature article Meg commented on the fact that Hollywood films and television shows rarely feature women over 50-years-old prominently as she said: ‘Our culture is so obsessed with youth.
‘As an old person now, I love my age. I love where I’m at. Aging is not that terrifying. We’re all doing it. I wish someone had told me earlier, “Just relax. It is what it is. Don’t pay attention to the obstacles.”‘
Meg looked gorgeous as always as she sported her signature wavy blonde locks down and showcased her evergreen looks with natural, complementary make-up topped off with a swipe of shiny lip.

On the cover of the publication, she showed off her smile while running her fingers through her hair as she donned a white Malene Berger sweater.
She also did a similar pose in a beautiful strapless black Dior dress which she teamed with a Tabayer necklace and Charlotte Chesnais bracelet.
Meg certainly looked in the Christmas spirit in another snap as she rocked a red Naked Cashmere sweater with baggy beige Lafeyete 148 trousers along with black Nomasei shoes and a Christina Caruso bracelet.
Perhaps the most quintessential Americana snap showed the talented actress laying back in a black Lafayette 158 tank top with baggy blue Tibi jeans.
Meg has two children – 31-year-old son Jack Quaid whom she shares with ex Dennis Quaid and 19-year-old Daisy True Ryan whom she adopted in early 2006 – and she got real about the ‘nepo baby’ discourse which has occurred over the last few years.
Jack has made quite an acting career for himself as he notably has starred on hit Amazon series The Boys.
The actress insisted that she can relate to the unwarranted scrutiny he has received over the years for being the son of two stars as she said: ‘You don’t wish it [on anyone]. It’s too hard and it’s too weird.
‘Jack is really talented. He’s more of a natural than I’ll ever be. That nepo stuff is so dismissive of his work ethic, his gifts, and how sensitive he is to the idea of his privilege.’

Meg gushed about his work as she insisted that she realized he was built for showbiz at an early age.
She explained: ‘I remember seeing him in a middle school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He was playing Bottom. I was newly divorced from his dad, and he was seated at the other side of the gym. I had my head in my hands and was like, “Oh, no. He’s good. He’s really good.”
‘I leaned forward, and I see Dennis, and he’s also leaning forward with his head in his hands. I just knew.’
Meg recently starred opposite David Duchovny in rom-com What Happens Later which has been released in the US and will be released in the UK on December 15.

The new movie also marks Meg’s return to starring in rom-coms after being away from the genre for more than 20 years following 2001’s Kate & Leopold, which she starred in with Hugh Jackman.
She’s also directed her new film, marking only her second time in the director’s chair after making her debut in 2015 with Ithaca.
In What Happens Later, Meg and David star as a pair of exes who run in to each other at an airport.
Their brief reunion turns out to be longer than they expected after a massive snowstorm shuts it down, forcing them to spend time together and reminisce about their failed relationship, while also considering what might have been.
