Abbie Chatfield has labelled conservative political commentator Freya Leach a ‘mean little girl’.
The It’s A Lot podcast host, 29, and the Menzies Research Centre ‘policy maker’, 21, both took part in filming an influencer election debate for The Feed SBS last week.
The news and current affairs program invited six of ‘Australia’s most influential young political commentators to debate the big issues of this election,’ in an episode that has not yet been uploaded to YouTube.
Rounding out the panel was former high school teacher Konrad Benjamin, 35, (aka Punters Politics); Cheek Media founder Hannah Fergusson, 26; Centre for Independent Studies policy analyst Trisha Jha, 38, and journalist Joel Jamaal, 28.
Freya, who has 14,800 TikTok followers, did not mince her words when she filmed her Uber ride home from the debate.
She specifically called out all three ‘super white lefties’ on the panel, saving her harshest dig for Abbie, who has 635,800 followers on the platform.

‘Honest reflections,’ she captioned the short clip of herself in a blue suit.
‘Punters is a one trick pony. Hannah is not as smart as I thought. And Abbie had no idea what she was talking about.’
Freya’s video has 3794 likes at the time of writing.
Abbie filmed a short and sharp clapback on Saturday that’s been liked 17,500 times.
‘Freya, you compared the climate crisis to the time there was too much horse poo in London,’ she said, before adding: ‘Let’s be real here darling.
‘Also babe, we were so polite to you despite your abhorrent views,’ she continued.
‘We were so respectful. This is insecure, mean girl, embarrassing behaviour from you. Hopefully you can grow up and mature from it.
‘Because Hannah and I didn’t agree with almost everything you said, but we didn’t get in our Ubers and make a little snarky mean video did we? No. Because we’re adults.’

‘But also because we couldn’t get engagement from your name, but you can get it from our names,’ she said.
‘So I’m glad you got your views babe, sending you all the love and light you deserve. We were so polite to you, holy s***, mean little girl.’
In 2023, Freya ran unsuccessfully as a Liberal candidate in the Sydney inner-west Greens electorate of Balmain.
She married NSW Young Liberals secretary Cooper Gannon in a Sydney church in December and has frequently called Anthony Albanese the ‘worst PM of all time’ in videos posted to social media.
She is currently the director of youth policy with the Liberal Party associated Menzies think-tank.
