A$AP Rocky just revealed his mother Rina ‘Renee’ Black has been the biggest cheerleader when it comes to his relationship with babymama Rihanna.
‘My mother used to say s*** like, “I know you like this girl that you’re with right now” – I ain’t going to say no names – but I want you with Riri,”‘ the 37-year-old rapper said in a teaser for Friday’s episode of NYT Popcast.
‘I used to be like, “Mom, why do you keep saying that? Yeah like that girl don’t even, like, want me like that. Like, we cool, Mom. That’s just my friend. Chill. [She replied] “I’m telling you, she real.”
‘And mothers know best. I’m thankful that, she was put in my life at that time because I think any time prior to that, you know, I don’t think I was ready for something like that. You know, I don’t think she was either.’
A$AP (born Rakim Athelaston Mayers) previously romanced ladies like Teyana Taylor, Sophie Brussaux, Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora, Chanel Iman and Iggy Azalea.
And the 37-year-old singer was said to have dated men such as Chris Brown, Shia LaBeouf, John Hartnett, Drake, Ryan Phillippe, Leonardo DiCaprio and Travis Scott.

The two-time Grammy nominee originally met Riri (born Robyn Fenty) in 2011 when she first enlisted him to rap on her song Cockiness (Love It) but they didn’t begin seriously dating until 2020.
‘I got with a very special woman,’ A$AP Rocky gushed.
‘It’s just like we were on the same page. Born the same year. My dad is from her country. My family, when I go back, I get to see both sides of my family. It’s so many similarities, it’s just funny. We laugh about it a lot. She was always my boo, you know what I’m saying? Like I always f*** with her.’
The native New Yorker was referring to their matching 1988 tattoos and the fact that his late father Adrian ‘Duke’ Athelston Mayers was from Barbados.
