Taking to Instagram, the former Boyzone singer confirmed the news, writing: ‘I’m excited to announce that I will be back headlining @itsthenineteesbaby festival’
This is his first tour since his son Jack claimed the Boyzone legend had retired during a chat with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma on Love Island.
Jack told MailOnline: ‘I did say he was retired though at some stage during the show, so he was not happy about that.
‘What I meant to say was he was retired from Boyzone, but he was touring right now, but I basically said he was retired, so I was in the dog house a little bit when I got back after that.
‘”I almost fell out of my chair” is what he said when he heard it, but we’re all good. We had a bit of craic after when I got home for sure.’
Ronan hit the headlines on Tuesday night when former manager Louis Walsh branded him a ‘p***k’.
The two men feuded in the early 2000s but appeared to bury the hatchet as in 2008 Ronan appeared on The X Factor to help Louis, 71.
Currently a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother, Louis reacted to Ronan’s song Life Is A Rollercoaster.
‘Great song,’ Louis said before leaning over to Sharon Osbourne and adding: ‘He was such a p***k.’
He then said: ‘Everybody thinks he’s a lovely guy, do you know what I mean?’
As the song continued to play, Louis criticised Ronan’s career, saying: ‘He hasn’t had a hit record since I left. He sacked me.’

Louis managed Boyzone and initially managed Ronan’s solo career before the two fell out.
He has taken numerous swipes at Ronan over the years, including previously calling him ‘talentless and spoiled’.
In an interview with Q Magazine in 2012, he said: ‘His head got turned by having nice hotels and chauffeur-driven cars, and he thought he could write songs.
‘If you’re Ronan Keating, who was working in a shoe shop when I discovered him, but end [up] thinking you’re George Michael, then you need to be stopped.’
Ronan has fired back on occasion and previously said on Magic FM that he didn’t want to work with someone who didn’t respect him.
He said: ‘[Louis] was very important to me as a mentor and I’m grateful for the opportunities he gave me, because I wouldn’t be here without them.
‘But there’s only so much you can give back and be so grateful, and for that not to be appreciated or respected.’
He also told Closer magazine: ‘That man absolutely tried to ruin me and if he thinks we can ever hug and make up he can forget it.
‘I haven’t heard from him in three years and I wouldn’t have a problem if I never saw him again. He’s not a nice character.’
