Lou Teasdale and Andy Carroll Arrive Hand-in-Hand at Superdrug Star Awards, Quashing Split Rumors

Lou Teasdale and Andy Carroll put on a united front as they arrived hand-in-hand at the Superdrug Star Awards in London on Tuesday. 

Make-up artist Lou, 41, looked happier than ever with her footballer beau, 36, as they posed together at the event – just days after fresh rumours circulated that they had split once again. 

For the outing, Lou cut a stylish figure in a plunging black top and matching flared trousers, which she teamed with a chic black coat and pointed black heels to elevate her frame. 

Meanwhile, Andy opted for a smart-casual look in a grey button-up overshirt layered over a butter-yellow V-neck jumper. 

He finished off the look with loose-fitting grey trousers and off-white lace-up trainers. 

The Superdrug Star Awards are an annual customer-voted event celebrating the best in health and beauty products and brands stocked at Superdrug. 

Also making an appearance were Strictly Come Dancing pros Carlos Gu and Katya Jones. 

Carlos, 32, cut a dapper figure in a grey double-breasted blazer, layered over a white T-shirt and satin blue shirt, which he paired with black tailored trousers. 

Katya, 36, flashed a hint of her toned midriff in a chic double denim co-ord featuring a striped corset top and distressed jeans. 

Love Island star Abi Moores, 26, and her boyfriend Nathan Campbell, 24, put on a cosy display as they arrived arm-in-arm.

Abi looked effortlessly stylish in a white mini dress, while Nathan looked sharp in a grey blazer and black trousers.

Made In Chelsea’s Olivia Bentley, 30, turned heads as she went braless in a black semi-sheer turtleneck top teamed with a brown suede mini skirt.

Love Island’s Megan Moore and Dejon Noel Williams also cosied up for the cameras.

Megan, 25, stunned in a sparkly chocolate brown dress with a flattering cowl neckline, while Dejon, 26, complemented her in a matching co-ord set consisting of a button-up shirt and tailored trousers.

Peter Andre’s daughter Princess, 18, showed off her fashion credentials in a black corset top and light blue denim jeans.

Lou and Andy’s appearance comes just days after he shut down fresh speculation of a split on Sunday, posting a loved-up snap of the pair to his Instagram and proving all was well between them. 

It had been alleged that the tumultuous couple had ended their relationship for a second time, after a make-or-break holiday failed to mend their romance.

However, Andy took to social media to share a sweet image with Lou confirming their relationship was still going strong.

The couple first split earlier this month after a series of rows, with initial reports claiming the footballer dumped the make-up artist after growing fed up with her high-maintenance behaviour. 

Daily Mail exclusively revealed it was in fact Lou who called off the relationship, and just four days later, Andy revealed they had decided to reconcile.

In a series of snaps posted on Instagram on Wednesday, the couple had appeared to have been stronger than ever as they held hands in a mirror selfie.

A source had also previously told The Sun that while they ‘tried to make things work, they were just too different,’ though Andy’s post has put an end to split claims.

Three weeks ago, a close friend of Andy’s claimed the Dagenham & Redbridge player thought their split was a ‘mistake,’ with it later being reported that he ‘begged for one last chance’.

At the time, Andy had vowed to cut down on alcohol in a bid to save his relationship with Lou, as he confirmed the pair were trying ‘to work through their difficulties’.

He told The Sun on Sunday: ‘I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple.’

Referring to his divorce from wife Billi Mucklow, whom he shares three children with, Andy added: ‘Things have been difficult for me and I’m going through a divorce.

‘Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years, and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it’s not a problem in my life. We’re better off together, and we’re trying to work through our difficulties.’ 

The pair, who were together for just over a year, unfollowed each other on social media after their first split, and Andy wiped all trace of Lou from his Instagram.

However, four days later, they followed each other again and added their loved-up snaps back to their pages.

A source told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘It was Lou who ended her relationship with Andy, she walked away a few days ago, it was very much her choice to end their romance. 

‘She isn’t interested in pointing the finger or blaming him and hoped to deal with their split in private, before he blocked her on Instagram and deleted their photos together.

‘Lou is very upset by how everything has played out, and the arguments between them were especially difficult for her to go through.

‘However, Andy wants Lou back and flew to Ibiza via private jet on Tuesday just to find her, even though he has no idea where she’s staying.

‘He will think it’s a romantic gesture, but for Lou, she’s unimpressed and just wants to be away with her family, she’s not interested in any of his attempts at a reconciliation now.

‘All she has done all year is love and support Andy, her feelings haven’t gone away, but Lou has to protect herself now and ending the relationship is the only way to move forward.’
