Michelle Williams Wows in Dress After Welcoming Fourth Baby

Michelle Williams was positively glowing while enjoying a rare night away from her four children, just weeks after revealing she had quietly welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy earlier this year.

The Oscar-nominated actress, 45, turned heads in a sultry black asymmetrical gown with gold chain straps as she attended the star-studded reopening of W New York – Union Square on Friday.

The performer, who has long been celebrated for balancing her career and motherhood with grace, seemed especially radiant at the event.

The outing marked one of her first public appearances since the arrival of her new addition with husband Thomas Kail, who is the father of her three youngest children.

In addition to their newborn daughter, the couple share a five-year-old son, named Hart, and two-year-old, whose sex and name has not publicly revealed.

The Manchester by the Sea star’s eldest, daughter Matilda, 19, was born during her relationship with the late Heath Ledger, who died from an accidental drug overdose in 2008.

Last month, Williams revealed she became a mom again this year during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The revelation came after guest host Tiffany Haddish complimented Williams on her post-baby figure, prompting the actress to give credit to her surrogate.

‘I didn’t realize you had three little ones, Haddish told Williams. ‘Can I just say that your body looks amazing, ’cause I would have never thought you had any!’

Williams replied: ‘Then I’ve got to give a big shout out to Christine, cuz this last baby did not come through my body.’

‘The miracle of our little girl is thanks to Christine. Maybe you’re watching out there – thank you, Christine.’

The actress went on to give an emotional shoutout to her surrogate, adding: ‘Thanks to Christine, I have three under 5 at home.’

Williams spoke candidly about her role as a working mom in Hollywood, admitting the juggle isn’t easy.

The My Week With Marilyn star told a late-night chat show host: ‘Everything’s good and under control. I’m the adult. I’m trying to figure out the sort of life-work balance.

‘I hear a lot of people are talking about self-care, and I’m just wondering when. Because I’m a working mom. Like, I already have the guilt, and I don’t want to take more time away from them, but I understand, like, I need to fill up the tank.’

As for her rare moments of private time, Williams revealed what she likes to do.

Williams joked: ‘It’s by visiting our fine local establishments of government bureaucracy.

‘You say, “I’m sorry, honey. But one day you’re going to grow up, and you’re going to get a job. And you’re going to pay taxes, and you’re going to need a Social Security number for that.”‘

Her husband is best known for directing Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash musicals In the Heights and Hamilton on Broadway and Off-Broadway.

They wed in 2020.
