Millie Bobby Brown is in the midst of planning her wedding to fiancé Jake Bonjovi.

The Stranger Things actress, 19, and her partner, 20, who is the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, announced their engagement in April after almost two years of dating.

It’s been a whirlwind romance for the pair who first appeared on each others social media profiles back in June 2021 but appeared to just be friends.

However, only two weeks later they were spotted holding hands during a romantic outing in New York. 

The following month, Millie appeared to confirm their relationship as she shared a photo to Instagram with her arm wrapped around Jake.

The couple kept their relationship mostly quiet for the following months but Millie did reveal the pair spent Christmas 2021 together.

Their red carpet debut came in March 2022 when they attended the British Academy Film Awards together.

Just a few months later they were back on the red carpet together as Jake supported Millie at the Stranger Things premiere.

Millie confirmed the couple were engaged in April as she shared a black and white snap showing off her ring.

She penned in the caption: ‘I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all’.

While Jake also shared an announcement post to his own page, simply writing ‘forever’ alongside two snaps of the couple.

Celebrating the joyous news, the smitten couple took part in a beachy photoshoot – with Millie dressed in a crochet dress while Jake donned a cream polo shirt. 

Their famous friends rushed to the comments to congratulate the happy couple on the news.

While her Stranger Things co-stars Amybeth McNulty and Jamie Campbell Bower also commented, with Amybeth writing: ‘YESSSS!!!!!!!’ and Jamie posting a slew of heart emojis.

Tilly Ramsay commented: ‘Congratulations!! Xx’

While Jess Wright said: ‘Ommmmggggg congratulations!!!!!!!!! @milliebobbybrown this is amazing. So so happy for you darling’.

Millie recently told how Jake has been ‘very involved’ in the wedding planning, telling NBC’s Today show: ‘He’s very helpful during the whole process. 

‘I’ve never felt alone in it, which is very nice. I’m always like, ‘Is this a good idea, is this a good idea?’ But ultimately, it’s just a very intimate day for the both of us and we’re both very excited.’ 

Millie also confirmed that Jake’s father, legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi will not be performing at their wedding.

She said: ‘I feel like that’s asking me to go and like, do a full-on play for everyone. 

‘I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop! He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it’s a three-hour break!’
