Simone Callahan has revealed how she dealt with the death of her ex-husband Shane Warne.
The 54-year-old, who is mother to Warne’s three children, told Woman’s Day this week that she practices yoga consistently to keep herself ‘aligned.’
Simone, who is a qualified yoga instructor, said that honing her skills in the ancient arts helped her deal with her grief after Shane passed away in 2022.
‘You carry it with you every day, but having my little rituals keeps me aligned with my purpose and feeling well,’ she said.
‘Grief has taught me not to take anything for granted and to try to do my best every day and do the work work to stay strong.’

Simone’s comments come in the wake of her newly-released memoir Growing With Grace.
The former WAG’s wellness book explores her journey to becoming a yoga instructor.
However she was initially unsure about sharing her story.
‘[But] I spoke to my kids and my family and they all said that I should, so I put pen to paper.’

Shane and Simone tied the knot in 1999 and were married for six years before divorcing in 2005.
Tragically, Shane died from a heart attack on March 4, 2022 while on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Thai police said he was staying in the villa with four friends, and when one of the group tried to wake Shane for food at around 5pm local time he was found to be unresponsive.
Shane’s manager separately confirmed his death, saying the father-of-three could not be revived.
He is considered one of the finest cricketers in history after claiming 708 Test wickets at 25.41 in 145 matches between 1992 and 2007.
