Jennifer Aniston compared the gruelling The Morning Show filming schedule to childbirth as she spoke in a new interview on Tuesday.
The 56-year-old Friends actress opened up about how tough shooting the series is in the latest edition of Glamour.
Aniston was not alone in the interview as she was joined by her Morning Show costars Reese Witherspoon, Marion Cotillard, Karen Pittman and Nicole Beharie.Â
Series four of the successful show – which follows a network broadcast morning news program – will be released on Apple TV+Â on September 17.
Opening up about the filming being tough and whether she would want to make more series she said: ‘Every year since I finished the first season, I was like, Well, that’s it—I’m dead. That just killed me. And then you forget.Â
‘I kind of compare it to what childbirth must be like when my friends are like, ‘You just kind of forget what it was, and then next thing you know you’re knocked up again.’Â

‘And having that same agony of pushing that watermelon out of a tiny little pinhole and then you just get to do it again. So I do feel there’s something extraordinary about finishing a season and not saying those words of, ‘I’m done.’Â
‘And just knowing that you’ve got to decompress and walk away from it for a while, and in my case, go do a comedy as fast as possible.’
During the interview she also discussed what beauty procedures she has done.
The star, who is known for her age-defying looks and toned frame, opened up about her beauty regime in the latest edition of the magazine.
At one point she was chatting with Cotillard in a group interview when she admitted that she got ‘facials and the lasers and all that good stuff’.
She did not, however, admit to getting plastic surgery, which has been speculated not only because she looks so youthful but also because she was spotted outside a plastic surgeon’s office in Connecticut with pal Sandra Bullock last year.Â
The centre specializes in face lifts and nose jobs, though they also offer Botox and other injectables such as Kybella.
The subject of staying young looking came up when Aniston was asked about getting older. But 49-year-old Cotillard jumped in by saying Aniston has made her feel empowered about aging.Â
‘That means so much to me,’ Jennifer replied.

‘We didn’t have that [those kind of role models growing up]. And I think as far as aging gracefully, I have an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity. Call it youth if you want. But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are,’ she added.
‘I’m not going to say I don’t get the facials and the lasers and all that good stuff. I mean, I’m maintained,’ Jennifer continued.Â
‘I’m not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over. So its perspective, and also knowing that this is our one body.
‘It’s a mindset. So it means a lot to me to hear that from Marion, who I think is a walking beam of sunshine and love and beauty and talent,’ she noted.
While Aniston has admitted to doing Botox in the past, she said it was not for her.Â
In 2015, Aniston said that she was not a fan of injections. ‘People think that I do a lot of (Botox) injections, but I don’t,’ began the Along Came Polly actress.
‘I’m not saying that I haven’t tried it but I see how it’s a slippery slope. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me,’ she told Yahoo Beauty. ‘And like we were saying before, they just start to lose perspective, it’s their new normal, so it’s a hard one to come back from.’Â
Seen on set with her co-star and friend Reece. Series four of the show is set to air later this monthÂ
