Lauryn Goodman Speaks Out on Being Uninvited from Sister Chloe’s Wedding Amid Family Feud

Lauryn Goodman has broken her silence on being uninvited from her sister Chloe’s wedding amid a bitter family row after the Kyle Walker paternity scandal.

Influencer Lauryn, 34, shares two children Kairo, five, and Kinara, two, with footballer Kyle. He fathered both children during his on-off marriage to wife Annie Kilner.

And at the start of 2024 Lauryn fell out with her sisters Chloe and Amelia reportedly over the media storm the Kyle paternity scandal had created.

They unfollowed each other on Instagram and Lauryn – who was meant to be a bridesmaid – was uninvited from Chloe’s Algarve wedding to partner Grant Hall.

Speaking to Closer magazine she has now broken her silence on the fallout and what the future holds for their sister relationship.

She said: ‘It’s been a really difficult time. My sisters and me have always been incredibly close and I’ve missed them so much. They were my foundation so to lose that support has been incredibly isolating.

‘It will always hurt that I wasn’t at Chloe’s wedding. We can’t get that memory back now and obviously it hurt a lot of people not just me. I felt upset that something unrelated to our immediate family had come in between us in such a big way.’

She added that tensions have now eased and they are on the way to rebuilding their sisterly relationship.

Chloe explained: ‘I believe there’s a chance to rebuild that relationship over time. It’s still raw but there’s progress. We’re not where we were but we’re in a better place than before.’

She added that their children still spend time together so that they remain unaffected. 

A spokesperson told MailOnline at the time of Chloe’s wedding: ‘Lauryn has been extremely upset and has been in floods of tears over the last few days and doesn’t wish to comment. 

‘You will have to ask Chloe how, on the most important day of her life, she chose not to include her sister.’ 

‘Chloe was adamant about her decision’, said an insider at the time. 

‘Their mother spent most of the week trying to reconcile the sisters, but Chloe stood firm. It was a tense time for the family.’

During the interview she also opened up about how she is open to meeting someone new and welcoming love back into her life.

Then, taking a swipe at Kyle she said it would be nice for her little ones to have a ‘consistent’ father figure.

Earlier this year, Lauryn revealed her plans for a third child as she admitted she’s not ready to ‘let go’ of the newborn baby stage. She is currently single.

Lauryn fell pregnant with her son Kairo while Kyle was ‘on a break’ from Annie back in 2019, leading to him and Annie briefly separating.

However, the childhood sweethearts got back together shortly afterwards and married in secret in 2022.

But in the winter of that year, after another brief fling with Kyle, Lauryn once again fell pregnant with Kyle’s baby and the following summer, his daughter Kinara was born.

Annie then threw Kyle out of the family home two weeks later, and Kyle then spoke out about the situation, describing the relationship as ‘stupid’ and a ‘mistake’. 

In turn, Lauryn hit back claiming that his words were ‘unimaginably cruel’ towards her children, with a very public row and court case between Kyle and Lauryn following. 

Earlier this year Lauryn said she would like more children.

Speaking to The Mirror at the Mariposa Ball in London this summer, Lauryn said she hopes to expand her family despite her endometriosis impacting her fertility.

She said: ‘Kinara still gives me lots of cuddles but I miss the chubby baby cuddles and the newborn smell. 

‘I am still breastfeeding her but it is only in the evening and I feel as though the journey is slowly coming to an end. I am delaying stopping because I’m just not ready to let that go.’

She also touched on whether she was dating or not at the moment – saying: ‘I don’t have time to do anything, the kids take all of my time.’ 

She previously told of her joy to be pregnant for a second time after being diagnosed with endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) eight years ago when she was told she would need IVF to conceive.
