Taylor Swift’s generosity is once again being highlighted, after wrestling legend Jeff Jarrett shared a selfless act she performed for him and his late wife.
The singing sensation, 35, was brought up during Jeff’s, 58, interview on TMZ Sports earlier this week.Â
Jeff explained that after hearing about his wife Jill’s breast cancer diagnosis, Taylor, who lived in the same Tennessee community as his family, performed a private three-hour concert for them.Â
The small audience also included the couple’s kids: Joslyn, Jaclyn, and Jerlyn.Â
‘It was Christmas of 2006 and my first wife was really ill with breast cancer,’ the athlete recalled.
‘She came over and didn’t bring her guitar in. She actually ran back home because the girls wanted her to sing and play.’

‘One thing led to another. Taylor went and got her guitar. Some more people dropped by and by the end of the afternoon, Taylor played about three hours in our great room. It’s a pretty big space. There was probably 35, 45 people at the end of it.’
Jill passed away in May the following year.Â
The performance took place just a few months after Taylor’s 2006 debut album, Taylor Swift, was released.
Jeff also mentioned that Taylor stayed close with the family, even watching the kids and baking cookies with them.
‘When my wife passed away, Taylor hung around and then was really good to the girls.’
Later, as Taylor’s fame grew, his daughter Jaclyn was cast as a young Taylor in the ‘Mine’ music video.Â
‘She bonded with the family, particularly with the girls… what a very cool relationship that developed,’ the proud dad shared.
Jeff added that that he still remains in contact with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift.Â

The A-list couple announced their bombshell engagement last week when the pop sensation shared several romantic snaps of the tight end getting down on one knee to her 282 million Instagram followers.
The happy couple had kept their engagement under wraps with Kelce actually popping the question weeks ago in a carefully planned proposal.
But while the engagement has fans buzzing, sources say the pair are still in celebration mode and haven’t begun mapping out their nuptials.
‘Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement,’ a source told People. ‘They are not in the wedding planning phase yet. Right now, they just want to enjoy being engaged, and they are going to take their time with it.’
The insider added that it has been ‘a relief’ for the couple to no longer keep their engagement under wraps. ‘They are glad it is out in the open.’
