Billie Piper has revealed what her children think of her showbusiness career – and their responses have been mixed.
The actress is mother to sons Winston, 12, and Eugene, eight, with her ex-husband Laurence Fox and daughter Tallulah, four, with former partner Johnny Lloyd.
The I Hate Suzie star, 41, appeared on this week’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show where the comedian asked what her kids think of her career.
She replied: ‘My elder one couldn’t give a sh*t, which I actually like, I think that’s a healthier response. I think I’ve got a fan in my youngest child, she will watch my music videos and ask to play my songs in the car and I’ll oblige.’
Billie got her start in the entertainment industry as a singer, signing her first record deal at the age of 14.

She became the youngest artist to debut at number one in the UK Singles Chart with Because We Want To and had another number one with her follow up Girlfriend.
She said: ‘I was 14 when I signed my record deal, the same age as my eldest son which blows my mind but he isn’t that interested which I think is fine.’
When asked if they like some of her acting work, Billie responded: ‘They have no interest in me being in Doctor Who but they will come to a convention where there’s access to real famous people, genuine stars if there is access to Stranger Things, Marvel or Lord of the Rings.’
When asked if she’d ever taken anything from set over the years, Billie admitted: ‘I take things from set, I see things, I take them.’
Intrigued to know more, Jonathan asks: ‘What things have you lifted from the set?’ Billie explained: ‘Loads of things, rings, costume jewellery, I actually have a whip and some underwear from The Secret Diary of a Call Girl.’
Talk then turns to her time on Doctor Who as she told Jonathan about items taken from the infamous TARDIS.
She said: ‘I took loads of stuff from the TARDIS, the main central console.’
It comes after Billie finally broken her silence on ex-husband Laurence Fox six years after their ‘quickie divorce’.

The actress shares Winston and Eugene with the controversial activist and the pair were embroiled in a lengthy custody dispute after their split.
In 2022, Laurence, 45, publicly spoke out about their arrangement, claiming Billie was using their children as ‘weapons’ and that he had been denied access to seeing them.
While Billie, 41, maintained a dignified silence at the time, she has now spoken out about their complicated relationship in a candid interview with British Vogue.
Asked how she navigates co-parenting with Laurence, Billie shared: ‘With enormous difficulty.’
She continued: ‘I close everything down and keep a very strict routine with the kids so that there’s consistency. I keep them close. That’s all I can do…
‘What is paramount for me is the privacy and anonymity of my children. They deserve not to be extensions of the parents and to forge their own identities.’
Billie previously admitted she co-parents her sons Winston, 12, and Eugene, eight, with ex-husband Laurence Fox ‘with enormous difficulty’ (pictured together in 2015)
Billie added that she tries to avoid hearing anything about her ex, who has hit headlines in recent weeks for a slew of controversies.
He was recently dropped from GB News after launching into a ‘sexist’ rant about a female journalist and lost a high profile libel case after calling two men ‘paedophiles’.
Yet Billie does her best to avoid being drawn into his scandals, explaining: ‘I try to keep people from telling me stuff but it’s really, really hard.
‘I don’t read it but everyone wants to talk about it. Sometimes I have to say to people: “Please don’t bring this to me, now or ever.”‘
Yet she confessed that she isn’t the best person to ask about Laurence, saying: ‘Look, if people want to try and understand the workings of the guy, they ought to either ask him or his family.
‘Ask [Fox’s brother-in-law, actor and comedian] Richard Ayoade what he thinks, or his wife [Fox’s actor sister] Lydia. They might have a more interesting take.’
The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 9:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
