Kyle Sandilands has launched an extraordinary broadside at Robert Irwin.
A feud erupted between the shock jock, 52, and the zookeeper-turned-TV star, 20, on Friday morning’s Kyle and Jackie O Show when Kyle learned Robert had been recently crowned Australia’s most popular broadcast personality.
‘The b***h has done nothing,’ fumed Kyle upon learning the news.
‘It’s a sympathy vote,’ claimed the Australian Idol judge, who was left stunned Irwin had been named given his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! hosting debut was yet to hit the airwaves.
He also had some choice words for his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson after learning she was among Australia’s most likeable celebrities.

‘You’re liked? I find that hard to understand,’ said Sandilands.
Tensions between Kyle and Robert sparked after the latter was crowned Australia’s most popular broadcast personality amid his impressive rise to success as a top presenter.
Even though the ‘wildlife warrior’ is yet to officially make his prime time TV hosting debut, he has already earned a huge fanbase working at Australia Zoo with his famous family.
It led him to beat some of Australia’s biggest names to be named the country’s most popular TV talent.
Despite being a relative newcomer to Aussie screens, he impressively toppled comedic veteran Hamish Blake from the number one spot on the Australian Talent Index’s 2024 Top Talent Report.
In his first ever appearance on the list, he also beat household names including Andy Lee, Dr Chris Brown, Sunrise’s Natalie Barr and Sophie Monk in a landslide victory.

Commenting on the wins, Robert gushed: ‘I’m so excited to be honoured with the top spot in broadcast in this year’s Top Talent Report.
‘Having an even greater platform to share my family’s message of conservation means the world to me.’
