Love Island star Yasmin Pettet is set to follow in the footsteps of fashion icons Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne by signing with an elite management company, the Daily Mail can reveal.
The ITV2 show is no stranger to churning out household names, with many going on to carve out careers as influencers or reality TV stars.
But in a historic first for the series, Yasmin is set to capitalise on the posture that made her a social media favourite, by signing with the well-respected fashion agency Storm Management.
The company has boasted names such as Carla Bruni, Cindy Crawford, Alexa Chung and Emma Watson as clients, and its founder Sarah Doukas is responsible for launching Kate Moss’s career after spotting her at an airport when she was just 14.
ITV have already hinted there are huge plans to cash in on the success of this year’s series, lining up this year’s finalists, including Shakira Khan and winner Toni Laites, to appear on more shows, or land big-money fashion deals.
Yasmin is the first Love Island star in its history to sign with Storm Management, and she excitedly shared her hopes of launching her fashion career after finishing in third place in the villa.

Last week she also joined villa pal Shakira for a swanky dinner in honour of designer Marc Jacobs at The Standard in London.
Speaking about her exciting career move she said: ‘I’ve always loved high fashion, and everything bold and unique. That’s why signing with Storm feels like the perfect synergy for me.
‘Not only are they the crème de la crème of the fashion world, but they are a 360 management company, with the expertise to create opportunities for me to explore many different avenues of my career, whilst retaining my individuality.
‘From TV projects and advertising, branding and licensing – as well as the most prestigious editorial and fashion collaborations, I am excited to be starting my next chapter with the team at Storm.’
Storm’s founder Sarah also told the Daily Mail: ‘We are very excited to be formally representing Yasmin.
‘Her style, charisma and personality really stood out on this year’s Love Island. At Storm, we have always broken the mould with our choice of talent, and the incredible reception to the show this year—alongside attention from iconic publications such as i-D—really caught our eye.
‘Yasmin’s personal style is edgy and perfectly aligned with where fashion sits right now. We are already working with the likes of Marc Jacobs on her, and we see a very bright future across fashion, beauty, branding and licensing—beyond the trajectory often associated with similar talent.
‘For us, it’s thrilling to embrace pop culture in the wonderfully eclectic and inclusive world we work in.’

Kate famously kickstarted her rise to prominence in the industry when she signed for Storm as a teenager, and remained with the agency for 28 years before parting ways in 2016 to move her business ‘in house.’
During that time she became one of fashion’s biggest stars, fronting campaigns for Stella McCartney, Dior, Versace, Gucci, Longchamp and Burberry among many others, as well as releasing a fashion range in Topshop.
Cara was signed by Storm in 2009 when she left school, and she appeared on the catwalk for the biggest names in the industry including Burberry, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi and Moschino.
She departed the agency in 2015, saying at the time she wished to focus more on her acting career.
Dubbed ‘YasGPT’ by fans, Yasmin found a huge fanbase in Love Island for her no-nonsense attitude, as well as her romance with boyfriend Jamie Rhodes.
She has already joined a string of fashion icons by posing for an avante-garde shoot for i-D Magazine, where she, Shakira and Toni opened up about the divide between the girls on this year’s series of the show.
Yasmin described things as ‘classic high school’ behaviour and said she made an effort to be nice to other new bombshells when they arrived, as tensions between the three girls and Meg Moore and Helena Ford dominated the series.
She said: ‘We felt like outsiders compared to everyone else, so when bombshells would come in after that, we would befriend them – we didn’t want anyone else to feel that way.’
Despite her blossoming romance with Jamie, last month Yasmin admitted she ‘hasn’t been intimate’ with boyfriend Jamie yet, telling The Sun On Sunday that part of the delay has been due to her sadness around the death of her cat Miaow Miaow.

She said: ‘I’ve been going through grief and Jamie will just sit there when I cry on him. I’ve taken a lot of time to process my emotions, so Jamie and I haven’t been intimate yet.’
‘He’s so patient. He’s never rushed that, because he knows it will happen at the right time.’
ITV released the voting breakdown for the Love Island final last month, confirming it was the closest result in the show’s history.
In total, Toni and Cach received 33.5 per cent of the vote, with Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley taking 26.2 per cent – showing the result was a close call.
Yasmin and Jamie came third with 22 per cent and Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood placed fourth with 18.3 per cent.
