Married At First Sight’s Sara Mesa and Lauren Dunn put on very glamorous displays as they stepped out for dinner at Matteo in Double Bay, Sydney, on Tuesday night.
The close friends were all smiles as they caught up for a drink and a bite to eat after bombshell scenes aired on the drama-packed Channel Nine reality TV show.
Sara was recently embroiled in an alleged ‘cheating’ scandal when her co-star and best friend Eden Harper revealed that she had met up with her ex-boyfriend behind groom Tim Calwell’s back.
However, Sara put the tension behind her as she stepped out alongside Lauren for a glitzy night out on the town after the scenes aired.
For the occasion, Sara, 29, put on a very leggy display in a black and white patterned mini dress, which she styled with black strapped heels.

Lauren, 32, looked equally stylish in a faux leather halter-neck dress, teamed with a pair of white heeled sandals.
The co-stars were seen smiling and laughing together as they sat outside the Italian restaurant and cocktail bar amid the balmy weather.
It comes after Sara opened up about the aftermath of her infamous cheating scandal, detailing the emotional turmoil and public backlash she’s faced.
The controversy blew up after Eden revealed text messages between herself and Sara, in which she disclosed her the meet-up with her ex-boyfriend.
‘Watching it all back has been really rough,’ Sara told Daily Mail Australia of the huge backlash.
The Sydney-based nutritionist admitted that reliving her experience has prompted her to confront aspects of her behaviour she’s not proud of.
She said: ‘It’s made me feel really sad, especially for the way that I’ve treated Tim. I have so many regrets… It’s like putting up a mirror to a lot of the things that I need to work on myself, and in relationships.’

She admitted she was ready to ‘leave the experiment’ after the bombshell claims came to light, describing it as a ‘super emotional and stressful week’.
‘I knew that Tim and I weren’t gonna be able to work on our relationship when everyone was down our throats about it,’ she added.
The struggles were made worse during Feedback Week, during a task that involved a relentless line of questioning from Eden and her partner Jayden Eynaud.
Reflecting on her actions, Sara expresses remorse and the desire to have handled things differently, saying she would tell Tim about the meet-up if she could go back.
Lauren also recently weighed in on the controversy surrounding Sara’s rendezvous with her ex-boyfriend and how it impacted their mutual friend Eden.
‘I did know about Sara meeting up with the ex, Eden knew, I knew that nothing happened and it was honestly a non issue,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘However, I can say in hindsight that it was very hurtful to Tim to find out the way he found out, because lying about something makes someone feel like there’s something to hide.’
Lauren also shared the advice she offered Sara during the couple’s tumultuous time.
‘I did say to Sara you should just tell him who cares? And her concerns was that he’d been cheated on in the past and it would make him think that something was going on that wasn’t,’ she added.
‘So I can see both sides, but obviously seeing how hurt Tim was on the screen was hard to watch.’
Reflecting on the aftermath, Lauren noted: ‘Sara and I have discussed this and she definitely knows now that what she did was wrong and it just created more problems than would have been created if she just told him the truth.’
Lauren also expressed her discomfort with how the situation was handled, particularly by Eden, who was caught between a rock and a hard place.

‘I really don’t feel like she really wanted to do it in that way and I think that’s what was making her so anxious at the retreat,’ Lauren said.
Despite the scandal, Lauren made it clear her relationship with Eden remains intact.
‘Eden and I definitely had a friendship, and we continue to have a friendship,’ she revealed.
‘It definitely didn’t ruin the friendship. I was just disappointed with how it was it came out,’ she affirmed, showing support for her friend amidst the backlash.
