It is party week in Los Angeles ahead of the upcoming 96th Academy Awards.
With the lights set to go up and the curtains to come down on the Oscars on Sunday, many of the stars of the big and small screen are attending the plethora of the events happening in the exciting run up to the ceremony.
On Friday, Jon Hamm and wife Anna Osceola were the picture of elegance in the fashion department when they made their way to the Vanity Fair x Saint Laurent x NBCUniversal Oppenheimer Film Toast in Los Angeles.
The tribute to the epic biological thriller film is well deserved considering all the critical and commercial acclaim it’s received since dropping in theaters in the U.S. and UK on July 21.

Before joining the celebration of the hit film, Hamm, 52, led his lady to the red carpet for a round or two of photos.
The Mad Men alum looked handsome in a black suit featuring a blazer with a slight cropped design that he wore over a matching dress shirt without a tie.
Rounding out his look, the St. Louis, Missouri native wore a pair of black boots, and had his dark brown hair styled up off his face with a part on the left.
While striking a pose with his wife of nearly one year, the Hollywood leading man had his left arm wrapped around her waist.
She stunned in a gray metallic-looking dress that came complete with a spaghetti strap design and plunging neckline, which helped showcase her cleavage.
The Cambridge, Massachusetts native, who has an acting career of her own, also wore a pair of open-toe heels, and had her strawberry blonde locks styled long and straight over her chest and down past the middle of her back with a center part.
Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Radhika Jones, Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello and chairman of Universal Pictures and Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Donna Langley co-hosted the pre-Oscar party celebrating Oppenheimer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The invite-only event was held at a private residence and included dinner and a cocktail party honoring Oppenheimer, the film, which was written and directed by Christopher Nolan, who based it on the biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer (2005) by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

In Oppenheimer, Murphy plays the title role during the time when he worked on the Manhattan Project, the secret undertaking that developed the first nuclear weapons.
The story focuses on the acclaimed American theoretical physicist as he wrestles with the creation of the atomic bomb during World War II.
Along with Murphy, the cast also includes such big stars as Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek and Kenneth Branagh, along with the likes of Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Michael Angarano, Dane DeHaan, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Alden Ehrenreich and Matthew Modine.
After having worked with a budget of around $100 million, Nolan was able to help create a bonafide hit film, which has grossed $960.7 million at the worldwide box office.
Oppenheimer received widespread critical acclaim, with particular praise towards its directing, screenplay, cast performances, cinematography, editing, musical score, and visual effects.
Among the 13 Academy Awards nominations it received were Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for Nolan, as well as Best Actor for Murphy, Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr. and Best Supporting Actress for Emily Blunt.
Oppenheimer received widespread critical acclaim, with particular praise towards its directing, screenplay, cast performances, cinematography, editing, musical score, and visual effects; Robert Downey Jr. received an Oscar nomination for his role as Rear Admiral Lewis Strauss, a high-ranking member of the US Atomic Energy Commission (AEC)

Hamm and Osceola first met while working on the series finale of Mad Men, in which she portrayed a flower child receptionist at a spiritual retreat center in California.

The couple were actually married during a ceremony at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, California in June 2023 after dating for two years and being engaged for another four months.
The 96th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 10, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with comedian Jimmy Kimmel set to serve as host for second year in a row and the fourth time overall during his career.
